Most freebie's (juice) that I came across were offered out by lovely young ladies walking about with boxes of goodies and offering them to passing people (rather than inside vendor tents) so I personally think it was a case of timing and luck of the draw. I didn't actually come across much (bar T-Juice sample and Decadent Vapour juice pick) that involved queuing? When I was lined up in the DV tent I noticed a lady on sticks queued behind me being ushered by staff to the quieter side to sit whilst she was personally served so I was impressed at DV staff thoughtfulness so there were many fine examples of consideration on the day. I agree Pep there were lots that came out and helped or made sure i got to the front, sadly never even got into DV queue was so bad inside that i didn't want to go in and hurt anyone with my chair, knowing my luck someone would sue me. in this day and age I have to be wary of things like that. I could break someone's foot if they were to close and i accidentally backed over them, unless it's done on purpose of course because they were rude or got in the way or they are married to me only did that once to hubby and it was a complete accident. but it didn't hurt him,

Perhaps I'm just to f**king ugly and the ladies run a mile when they saw me coming, hense no freebies.
Yes , both T-Juice and DV had massive queues I must have been in those 2 queues for well over 2 hours ( a quarter of the day spent at 2 vendors )in total and I went to them later on when they weren't as busy, so god knows how long others were waiting when they were packed , having said that, when I visited them later on the people there were dead on their feet, I suspect 99% of the Vendors staff didn't have a break all day.I mentioned it earlier in my large post that Helix Mods , Touchwood Ecigs and Mrs Lord & Co were crammed in a corner of a relatively small tent and were all VERY busy , just to get to Mrs Lord & Co it took me 25 mins to sample their Juices, it was well worth the wait as I got a 50ml Seville marmalade for £15.But all 3 of them need more room for next year.
That's really good that DV did do that for that lady, and a vendor that does that is going to have a long term customer because of it, and when she tells others they will also go to them having heard good things about them.A case of GOOD karma.Other vendors should take some the same kind of philosophy , all of their staff were brilliant.

I'm totally dyspraxic! It's almost a good job I don't have wheels clairea .....I was lethal enough with a pram! I was always clobbering people on the back of their heels and sending them flying, how mortifying was quite relieved once my crew grew past that stage (and I bet the people around me were thankful too) When my son was a few weeks old I popped into M&S for a pastie and placed it on the rainshield as I went to counter, it slipped off, I slid on it, as I fell to my knees and automatically jerked the pram handle down --and catapulted my baby 8 foot across shop floor I'd not strapped him in and its a good job he was swaddled in blankets...

your welcome to! Steve (VapeStorm) he's now a strapping healthy grown man and there doesnt seem to be any lasting damage?..... When he was 3 days old I took him out in a baby sling to a pals and lay him down on friend's sofa. After coffee I scooped him up and slid him in...except i'd undone the buckles and he shot straight through it! I caught him by his wrists inches from the floor. my friend (and entire family freaked!) but I didnt actually drop him, well not officially Obviously no-one is going to ask me to babysit after these revelations are they?

Hi all, even though i could not grace this years festival in person, upon reading your posts although in the main it was enjoyed by most the main topic of discussion that keeps popping up from reading the posts is that a few of the vendor stalls were too small and some inaccessible, was this the general criticism overall ie: (small tents in a bigger area than last year, but still the same mad rush & crush?) sounds like they solved the problem of the area size but not the vendor tent size! would anyone who went to this years festival think that it would be beneficial to be a paid/ticketed event and held at a indoor arena, now that it is so popular and attendances going up year on year, lots of other advantages of being indoor too. Big kudos to this years organizers for organizing an ever growing event and for FREE

The paid/ticketed is a good idea might keep away the freebie hunters and with the extra funds security should be improved. A lot would disagree but each to their own. Shame you couldnt make it Carl, was hoping to bump into you

richo71 I was amazed at T-Juice and Halcyon Haze - The tent was big enough but they didn't have enough staff to cope with the demand, hence massive queues with a very long wait, they should have known that there would be high demand at T-Juice

With regard to "paid/ticketed". We (they) could do something very innovative and say...
1. It's a free event.
OR
2. Buy a £10 ticket with tear off coupons and have "organised" freebies.
I tried to blag some free 5/10ml samplers and got nowhere. Now, without wishing to sound too up myself, a couple of those vendors (NOT the obvious ones) have had in excess of a hundred recommendations from me on 3 e-cig forums.
So, to those "stuff you" - if you can't spare 40p of juice, I shan't recommend you ever again.
and, in contast, Pheonix e-liquids gave me 3 bottles to bring home. I know they are new, so it's not a perfect comparison. I'm there, wearing my badge, it wouldn't be much to ask. ???
or has it gone all facebook these days?

Yes - yesterday's fees to vendors will have been in the £100s most probably. £1,000s would be a serious problem. Not for UKecigstore mind you. There are lots of things that are possible, it's a case of weighing it up each year. I think the marquees could have been spread out more for example, perhaps with a beer garden table between the tents. Not that I have any complaints... not at all - it was 99.9% brilliant as it was.
