I met him at a meeting with VTTV's Dave and one of his side kicks (forget her name sorry) when I had my purse nicked in the SYHA hostel in Glasgow. We were waiting outside this posh hotel in Glasgow for people to show up for a protest. It was raining ....then VTTV Dave comes out of the hotel and invites us in LOL

Would have stayed longer that day but like needed the bank and was tired after not crashing till 3am (and had to be near central station for 8am LOL)

im in and bloody loved it I had a great weekend and was the last person to bed both days fri night sat morning was 7.30am and sat night sun morning was about 7 am so I managed about 3 hours aver the weekend so all was good loved meeting you all and thank you

Sorry it's taken me a while to post this. I got called into work Sunday night an after a weekend being lead astray by VapingBad, dagl, Bluefish, Steve (VapeStorm) I am dead on my feet.
It was great to meet everyone, I apologise if I miss anyone out. It was great to meet the above and DiscoDes(cider king), djs(many thanks for the beer run on Sat night), Perpetua, ronaldo, Pepperty, teethcv, arron, Di, clairea, @spikeyfridge, GunJack, jeffc, deesigner and others that my jd mashed brain won't allow me to access. It was good to catch up with chrisjw, bubbleglass, remnant amongst others. It's was lovely to put faces to names and names to tags. The longer the weekend went on the less appealing Shrewsbury became and the more appealing "Club AAEC"(well done VapingBad for supplying shelter, chairs, cooler, chicken and marshmallows) became. By the time Saturday came around I realised that the campsite was what vapefest was about for me. I hope vapefest will always include the camping element so "Club AAEC" can develop.
I was chuffed with being able to give away 420 18650s, loads of luer tips and protank grommets, some modding boards, and 2 kicks.
Many thanks to Phoenixflame (Julie) for her company, transporting me and the batteries,secretarial duties and being a all round star.
The highlight of my weekend was the moment at 2am-ish Saturday morning when VapingBad and myself realised we were partners in crime/school friends 35 years ago, and haven't seen or heard of each other since. After a few hours of recalling hilarious memories it was like we hadn't lost touch.
Well done to ukric for your hard work too.
I was getting myself ready to ditch vaping, but I am now in quandary!!!!!

seniorphil even if you do ditch vaping mate you cannot ditch your new found mates and we have to do it all over again next year the laughs need to continue

Thank you for the batteries! Can't believe that under all that battery weight your backpack straps didn't break! Or that you didn't end up with a broken back and 2" shorter! Kudos to you!
