The pictures are actually Chrome running on XP at my work, not even windows 7, but I wouldn't expect many differences whatever operating system it's running on to be honest. Hope you're enjoying win8.1 - that's what I have at home, but I cant really say I like it that much, more that I'm becoming used to it and I've had it for a year now

Well I have finally got my old laptop up and running again, no pop-ups, no nude pics, no anything that I used to have. What annoys me is I actually paid £25 at the repair shop and when I brought it back it was just as bad as when I took it in, I was in no mood to take it and argue the toss with him as I wasn't feeling in the best of health so best not to get myself in a tiswas. Yesterday, I had a eureka moment, so got it out again and put my plan into action. Restore to before the last Windows update, read all the bumf about what this entails and went ahead with it. That was , I thought sorted but no, Google Chrome would not load , I tried IE but no way could I work with that, so I uninstalled Google, then re-installed it. Works like a new machine now, no problems whatsoever, don't know exactly what caused the problem in the first place and right now I care less, it is sorted and I am a happy bunny, 2 laptops working like a dream. Why do I need 2 you may ask, well I am so ingrained in our' One for back-up' mantra, so why not?
