I often feel people think I am a bit OTT about battery safety, luckily this sort of thing is very rear and very glad no one was hurt as it looks a nasty one probably a mod with poor or no vent holes.

impossible to be OTT about battery safety it is simple really we have one life and I intend to live it I don't want to get a disability over a defective battery you cannot put a price on your health and everyone underestimates the power of a battery
at work I have to test battery safety and that involves taking a battery beyond its safe level I have to take a battery to the level that it explodes and if you have never heard a battery explode you are lucky but I do it every week
I explode batteries behind bullet proof glass and it puts the sh*ts up me every time one explodes I wouldn't like one anywhere near my face or hands I can imagine the damage it could and would do

Can anyone tell me why cloud chasing is even wanted.What does it gain you ?Is it a case of I can so I will.I am quite happy with a 2.0ohm coil decent juice and a normal vape.What am I missing that is so important?

You either take to it or you don't mate, personally I can't get on with it,does nothing for me. I find the reduction in flavour makes it not worth the clouds.
What really pi$$es me off is the idiots that want to blow their clouds in public places, I was sitting in a cafe and these two muppets were having their own cloud competition ???
Then they got angry when the proprietor asked them to stop They were actually using the fact that is wasn't illegal to vape indoors as there justification
People are eating FFS

I saw this at a London meet, they also had a laser pen to light up the clouds, one of the idiots told me his setup was far superior to mine, despite the fact my MVP was about 100 foot away on a table, just muppets.

I'm not sure you can blame this on cloud chasing, it was not a contestant but an
Onlooker. So we realy have no idea what the issue was, other than an over stressed battery cell.
It seems strange that no owner was traced, so it's probably safe to assume they
Had moved away prior to the incident.
Makes me wonder if they knew there was an issue.

I just don't vape in cafes/restaurants. I try not to vape with the wind making my vape go in people's faces even at a bus stop...

I totally agree, when smoking was legal in restaurants i still went outside for a fag, pure manners, I hated people on next table smoking. Cannot imagine what it was like when you could smoke on buses, tubes and airplanes, although I'm old enough that i should lol.

It really doesn't matter if Vaping is safe/legal or not, legally it's up to the proprietor of any establishment if they allow it or not, just like if your in a seaside town shop, some will allow you in with shorts and no top! others won't, even if Vaping was the same as the Old smoking rules, if someone says you can't Vape on their premises you can't end of story, I used to smoke 20 a day plus roll up's but even I could go a couple of hours in the supermarket or anywhere without a cig, and I still Vape the same as when I smoked, I don't take it for granted I can do it anywhere I ask first, I can't see the purpose of big vape clouds myself, but it's up to those individuals doing it to pick a time and place for it, it's almost like some people are just trying to make a point, what they don't understand is most people don't see a big cloud of harmless vapour, they see a big cloud of smoke, until the general Public know more about what we are doing and in my view the health benefits we need to take a bit more care, we need the public on our side not against us,,

Unfortunatly it's not just vaping

Road user here (cars and bicycles) and everyday witness idiot cyclists, scooter riders (real problem in London since Jamie Oliver shown on one), and boy racers all costing us good road users a bad image and higher insurance, unfortunatly there is nothing to be done against idiots apart from drowning at birth.

Can I have the job of drowning them ? have a swiming certificate ???
