dirt cheap, of topic but with the sx chips taking over does this spell the end for elvolv, they already need to make 3 or 4 new chips just to catch up to the sx ones, and with the price difrence bettween a mod with a sx chip compared to a mod with a dna chip, seems like the writing is on the wall,

They're very good chips so it's bound to put a dint in Evolves business but I can't imagine it ever being the end for them, just strong competition. As said above they've got new stuff in the pipeline and are always innovative and always make good quality so if they keep doing what they're doing there will always be a market for them.

They should have got a vaper with BIG hands to do the video, it looks like a book in the lady's hands (she can't hold it in one comfortably) and she forgets to juice the coils so one goes orange. Shame they have 4 screws on the battery cover it kinda defeats the object of having 18650s IMO.

geordie_vaper rumour is that Evolv are going to do temperature regulation (they were first to do VW) and I know they are investing in new machinery that can assemble boards with much smaller components so hoping for smaller, safer & higher powered mods.

Read the ipv3 is using a different board to this, assumed would be the same.
Ipv3 should have upgradable board with step down and other options.
Sitting firmly in the fence on this one.

EG instant fire from sleep, remembers settings after changing the battery, no stupid 10 sec time limit, real-time battery & load monitoring, monitoring battery fitness (lack of sag) rather than just voltage, no gimmicks like touch sensor (though the tilt sensor was a good one). Just my opinion, I should have an IPV2 tomorrow, I may change my opinion, but I would be surprised if I do as I expect the IPV to vape well and output the watts. And is the vape form a ProVari that much better than a Vamo, a bit, but there plenty of newer devices that give a flat output at a fraction of the price of a PV that will vape as well now. They will not last as long or be as safe as the PV.
