Reviewers - Who's hot. who's not?

I like Todd's reviews, tho I have to set some time aside to watch them. He comes across as really honest as you can really see when he gets a good surprise, or when he's disappointed in a product.

Roscopecotrain and paulymeatballs are always a good view. I do find the occasional good review from others, but I don't follow them.

i used to watch these reviews but not good for wallet so i stick to fasttech ratings lol or reviews

I don't find any of them particularly entertaining and agree with the comments regarding most being long winded boring waffle with poor quality camera work.
Add to that there's often signs of lack of research/knowledge of the product their reviewing, all that just makes me switch off.

I tend to do as MarkS and watch for setup tips, some of igetcha69 and Andrewwvids offerings are the only ones I've watched from start to finish.

pBausardo is head and shoulders above the rest in terms of putting kit through its paces, Todd would be next and they can both build most atties unlike a lot of reviewers like the waffle master GrimmGreen, nice guy, but after all these years reviewing you must know lots of people show can show how to do stainless steel builds (he's not the only one).

paulymeatballs, Roscopecotrain & richo71 all do a fine job.

zVaper is strangely inconsistent he got a battery tester and did a great battery review, except for putting knackered batteries in with new ones and expecting to be able to compare them. He declared a eFest LUC4 as accurate after testing the charged voltage of one battery, I tested about 30 and the term accurate never came up unless prefixed with in, overcharging piece of junk came up a lot.

Most of the others are great and I think once you get to know their prejudices, skill, knowledge and experience levels you can read between the lines and tell what that means for you. I think that video reviewing well is a lot harder than it looks from outside so kudos to all the reviews.

I, obviously, have my own favourites, and opinions on them, however for now I'll keep those to myself but will list, in no order of preference, the ones I usually watch with no other comment for now.

Apart from the reviewers on here twisted 420 cracks me up but Rip Tripper sets my teeth on edge. Knowledgable fella but the way he skips frames in his videos and goes completely overboard narks the hell out of me. Can't stand listening to him. Grrrr

Have to say without disrespect to anyone I just can't be assed to watch a video (don't watch TV). But I really like paulymeatballs slide shows, succinct and to the point informative without faffing about.
