Boots Glycrin ( VG) Question

Hi Guys

Just picked up couple of bottles of glycrin from boots, its 100% vg, can I use boiled water to water it down or do i have to use de-ionised water?

I used to use vodka, now use pharma grade distilled water, it's about £5 a gallon, got mine in local chemist. Most of it stored in freezer, enough for a lifetime.

OK,

Take a pan, and put some water in it.
Put a bowl in the pan - not touching the bottom.
Put lid on upside down.

Put on heat.

Bring to boil, and after a few mins you will have enough distilled water in the bowl for your needs

Vodka? water sounds cheaper. Can this be found in boots or super drugs?

ohh that sounds even more cheaper lol .. will give this a go. thanks buddy

Yep - you can make a wee drop every time you need it, as you'll never need more than 10ml at a time

What is your final pg/VG ratio? I personally don't dilute VG, even for 60/40 mixes!

I stopped diluting (in my case to make it easier to draw up).That's using 50/50.Now I just use a big syringe with no needle. So I'd be interested to know the vgpg ratio too. (or reason for diluting)

I just use as it is no need to thin unless making vg heavy juice rana

2016 Armageddon is not going to be that severe. The EU is not banning water, you know 

What a waste of freezer space - you'd do much better with a gallon of base nic!

Got it when I started mixing, thought i'd be making gallons, turned out a bit of a disaster, but we drink a lot of G & T'S here so wont be wasted lol.

Ah, that's what I thought you meant! (25/75   )
I'm guessing for wicking you'll need to dilute then.

Never had cause to go that far - I mostly do 80/20, and some at 60/40.
