It's so you can connect to an app on your phone.  The app allows you to control the mod remotely and it tracks your usage...  pretty gimmicky and if you lose the bluetooth connection your tracking isn't accurate.  The handy thing about it is that you can protect the button - changing from 10w up to 50w in 0.1w increments is a lot of button clicking and it's quite slow - the settings in the app can be adjusted with a slider.  It's also how Smok release the software upgrades - apparently there will be an upgrade to 100w at some point.

Ok so Rob is here with his Smok BEC Pro.

Wow very impressed with it, smaller than i thought, lighter than i thought. Looks very nice in person and the bluetooth app on your phone is actually dam good. If the update comes out for 100 watts that makes this an amazing mod for the money.

It was £79.99 chykensa. Red juice have it for £79.95. It's pretty big, I'm off out in a bit but will post some pics with a vamo this afternoon so you can see size comparison

Can you check the 510 threading is it a SS or chromed bras, please? Can't find it anywhere on the net.

That's great, you can find someone with a BEC and using the app you can whack their mod up to 50w or 12v without them knowing

Nice try hijack, but each mod is password protected... the default password is 000000, but I've changed mine purely for that reason

So not actually much bigger than the vamo. But IMHO looks much better and seems like a solid mod.

But seeing that pic makes me miss my lovely silver SID. I killed it via a drop on concrete and I did love that mod.

no, not much bigger at all and only 26g heavier than the vamo 

So far, yes, it seems like a really solid bit of kit.  I've managed to drop it twice already    but it's still working fine.  It's pretty top heavy with a full KF on top, so make sure, if you do get one, you stand it in something when you're not holding it, otherwise it's far too easy to knock it over.
