Hello everyone, really nervous about posting as I am perhaps the most lazy smoker to enter the forums. I smoke 20 Berkley Menthol a day and at 3am one morning had a eureka moment when my email was spammed by an electronic cigarette ad. I searched the internet and ordered a Halo starter kit in Menthol which I loved. Having ordered a months worth of refills the flavour has changed and is not sweet tasting as the previous cartomisers were which leads me to my question. Being lazy as I am, which uk vendor does a good menthol tasting cartomiser ciggie? I travel alot throughout the day so dont think refilling myself could be practical so prefer to just change the cartomiser and go! Maybe I am asking too much but it was the sweet taste that I got from the cartomisers in the starter pack which kept me away from the real ciggies and the ones I have now received just don't cut it Any help is appreciated

Hello & welcome Mrsmac Please don't be nervous about posting here - we really are a very friendly bunch Not that many vendors sell the prefilled cartomisers, mainly because people find it so much cheaper to refill with juice. You can easily fill several at a time & take them with you when you are out & about.

Hi MrsMac & Welcome! I too am a menthol fan I too travel a lot in my car I too am "lazy" My recommendation to you would be a Riva Kit, some cartomisers and some HS Menthol, all can be got from vape-escape for less than what you spend on cigarettes in a week. Pre-fill 3 or 4 cartomisers (once a day) and you're good to go for a 2 - 3 of hours vaping of each cartomiser. Probably you will need medium strength (18mg) liquid. Once a carto runs dry just pop another one in, at some point in the day refill your carto's (takes about 5 minutes) then you're good to go. Use 1 battery whilst you have the other on charge, when the battery runs out just swap over, though you should get at least 7 or 8 hours out of a battery, maybe more. then you can try other flavours/strengths. Above all ask questions, no matter how trivial, someone here will help you. Riva link www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-1100-deluxe-kit-%5Bideal-for-beginners%5D~151Cartomiser link www.vapeescape.co.uk/kanger-510-lr-cartomisers-horizontal-coil-%285%29~225Menthol E-juice www.vapeescape.co.uk/hs-menthol-sensation-10ml~252And i'd recommend a drip tip cos it feels better in your mouth than a blunt cartomiser www.vapeescape.co.uk/transparent-coloured-drip-tips-%28510%2F901%29~142Use the discount code "allabout" to get 10% off of your order and get entered into a free draw Others will also be along with their suggestions.

There are LOADS of sweet tasting juices out there as well to try, Cotton Candy, Red Bull, Caramel, Daquari (yes you can get booze flavours!) all sorts of fruity flavours as well as tobacco/fruit/sweet combinations.

Oh wow, thank you for all the responses, I guess it may be better to switch to a more grown up kit lol Am I right in thinking that when you fill a cartomiser that it lasts for about 5-7 cigarettes? I think having it pre done has spoilt me as they last around 15 ish ciggies lol

Yes the cartomisers I have recommended above last the equivalent on 5 - 7 cigarettes when filled and you just keep refilling them. They should also last as long as the halo refills. However you will find that your "habit" may change and that you will vape more than you smoked. But that's OK remember you are not smoking now, just getting your nicotine in a much more pleasurable way. As you have been using a e-cig already you may have noticed this.
The kit I recommended you is the one that many here have used after finding the limitations of the cig-a-like devices and as long as you don't mind that it does not look like a ciggie i am sure it will meet your needs.

Mrs mac, Des is right, the cartomisers that he has recommended should last more or less the same time as the ones you have now as they will hold the same amount of juice. I agree with Des, you would do so much better going for the Riva. You will get a better vape from it & the batteries will last so much longer between charges

Is the Riva a larger version of a 510 then? I was looking at the links and trying to figure out putting it all together, my fingers are itching to press the buy it now lol, slightly off topic if i have an RN4091 battery is that good for anything anywhere?

Yes, the Riva is a larger version of the 510.
Do you mean a RN4081 battery? I think, but not certain that that's the Halo model? If so, you can buy atomisers & cartridges for it, but not easy to get the cartomisers that fit it from other sellers.

yes I must have read it wrong somewhere. My trail of thought was whether I could get a blacnk cartomiser set up and sample juices from the various vendors mentioned before delving in and buying a brand new kit.

I can't think of any reason why you can't refill the cartomisers you got with your Halo. Most cartomisers can be refilled several times over before they wimp out & die.

Oh, I didnt know I could as the instructions say in bold in the kit, not to lol. So I guess I better do a search on here about some juices as well as the ones recommended above and then come back and pick you guys brains about the 510 or the riva

I think those instructions are just to make sure you keep going back to them to buy the prefilled cartomisers I actaully started vaping 3 & a half years ago with an RN4081 with separate atomiser & cartridge. But got to admit that I've never had an RN4081 cartomiser, but just can't see why you shouldn't be able to refill them with juice? Unless anyone knows of a true reason why not? I've heard the Griz's menthol juices that des linked to are brilliant & have also heard good reports of Paradise vapes menthols. - paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/index.php/cName/ejuice-menthol-flavours
