I thought raising the coil from the air hole increases throat hit and lowering reduces throat hit.

Thats very high. Does the vape feel a bit hot as i normally have mine set so the bottom of the coil is at the same level as the bottom of the slots.

I asked eden when i first got one and they said that if the throat hit is too harsh lift the coil.

@windows mxethey think ill give it a day on this coil before flaffing about with another dont seem to be as harsh or burnt taste but keep coughing a lung up (think its to do with my chest feeling tight)

Raising away from the air increases flavour lowering increases warmth

I have just checked this on the other forums I frequent and all discussions regarding throat hit are nearer the air hole less and further away more. However there are other factors to take into account the main one being nicotine level.

I'm vaping a Rose V2 at the moment and the coil sits about 2mm from the air hole and there is very little throat hit with 12mg Digby's Apple & Cinnamon Pudding.
