I second Dave's suggestion Might be a bit more pricey than the Chrissie's, but cartomizers beat atomizers+cartridges hands down imho John

When I started I had a look alike mini ecig and it was automatic. I never thought I'd like or get used to a manual switch. But when I tried one, it just came automatically to me. And now I way prefer a manual switch, gives you alot more control.
I'd just go for a manual tbh.

btw the way you might want to stay well clear of any kit with atomiser+cart .....they basicly just suck. leaks everywhere and doesnt hold much juice.
p.s. they do a group buy on here in january from health cabin if you want to get a pcc....HC have them for £12.

I agree with John & King that it would be better to go for Dave's suggestion from Vape Escape Can't fully agree that atomisers & cartridge suck though They are great for trying out different juices as you tend to get a lot more flavour with them (especially 901's)

And just to add to your confusion (sorry Mrs M ) You might like to check this nifty little e-cig out - the SD keyring. It's new to the market & for such a small device, it should have fairly good battery life (the higher the mAh of a battery the longer it lasts between recharges). It is also a 510 fitting - www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-sd-keyring-ecig~266Again, you can use the discount code allabout for 10% off.

Lol Dave, I think we must be Scylla, in some ways it was so much easier when we started vaping - less than a hand full of models to choose from, atomisers with carts (no cartomisers) & even no juice when I started

I can't even begin to see what the industry is going to be doing in a years time.

Hi mrsmac and a belated welcome from me too. I expect you already feel overloaded with advice - I know the feeling from when I recently started! If I understand you right, you are thinking of getting a cheap automatic 510 battery to put your toe in the water . Here is one from a very helpful vendor who is highly thought of on here: www.vapeescape.co.uk/510-battery-%28automatic%29~22Jason also does a suitable USB charger: www.vapeescape.co.uk/510-usb-charger-for-mini-510-batteries~211On the same website you will also find blank 510 cartomisers (the Boges are very good) and for some tasters of excellent juice, you won't go far wrong with their Grizwalds pick 'n' mix pack to try them out. As people have already said, the automatics like this one don't last long between charges and you would soon get used to the manual batteries. They are twice the price but last about 5 times as long. Hope this is helpful If you are stuck on something looking like a traditional cig, I'd go with Dave's suggestion. But really, the Riva 1100 is the shnitz www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-1100-deluxe-kit-%5Bideal-for-beginners%5D~151 great battery, and quite versatile. Check out all the vendors in allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=suppliers&thread=2&page=1#2 and get the discount code it will add up. Sorry if this breaks any forum rules, and feel free to move and/or edit but Jason at vapeescape has been great and I have had good personal experience with cloud9. Andrew

Andrew, it doesn't break any forum rules at all Lol MrsM, it really was just a choice back then of a super-mini RN4081, a mini DSE901 or the classic pen style that I can't even remember the model number of Fairly easy to choose, but the newer models are so much better Especially the mods (large battery holders) but I don't think you'll want to know about them - yet

if i was getting a new kit i would go with the Era as King and Scylla said... the batts are auto and last longer than regular 510's plus the 'cartos' hold a huge 4ml of juice which would last days !!! use allaboute for 10% off from safercigs
