Evening all I've been looking at Fasttech and another site which is German as I would like to order a few things. Thing is I've never ordered anything from overseas before and wanted to know how it works, for one the products aren't in sterling. So is it as easy as ordering from a UK vendor or do I have to do anything different. The first site would be Fasttech Sorry if it sounds a bit of a daft question but I'm just slightly unsure. I think most sites you can change the currency, however iirc you have to register first.
Alternatively google 'pound to dollar converter' the first result is a working converter you can use right from the results window.
You can just order tho, your bank or paypal will do the conversion for you.

Its easy if you have a paypal account. If you look at the FT page you will see a 'change currency' box where you can select £. When you go to checkout just select the delivery method as there are a lot of choices, Free China Post is the quickest. Then checkout using the Paypal option. It will send you to the Paypal site and you just sign into your accout and press the 'pay now' button. If you link a bank account or debit card to your paypal account, it just goes through without having to put in card numbers. Should work the same for any site and using paypal you get protection as well. Plus paypal gives a good conversion rate if you need to pay in $$$

It is just as easy, only big difference is the wait from Fasttech can take or 3 week. I've had one order from Germany, no problems, took about 7 days. Paypal is the best way to pay for goods overseas..imho. others will be along soon with advice I'm sure.

I've used Fasttech many times, and the prices are ridiculously cheap. If you want the real deal, look for the word 'authentic' in the description, that means that almost always the item will be the real thing, not a cloned copy. As mentioned above, you can change currency, but you DO need to register first. This only takes a minute, and will save time when you buy anyway. Buying is easy, as again detailed above. Average wait time is 2-3 weeks, so order and forget about it, it will be a pleasant surprise when the postie knocks! Shipping is free, which sets this site apart from some of the other Chinese vendors. Go for it, I have received some excellent gear from FT, and for silly prices too

and an even easier way to change currency (if not offered on site) is to highlight the price, including the $ or euro symbol, right click and ask google to search, it will open a new tab with the price converted into your local currency. Another +1 for FT but a +2 for Focalecig, prices are normally very close to FT but customer service is 2nd to none, and if you have a problem just tag Foclecig on here, she works miracles

When ordering is $47 (£28.83) the final price or is there any other charges to add or fees? Nice1 mate

crunchynut please don't feel bad for asking about ordering from abroad. I'm having a battle with Hermes right now and that's just the UK remember.....the only stupid question on here is the one you don't ask....So please don't apologise

Hi there, I find that the price is usually accurate but with maybe a few pence difference. I found out that this is because paypal uses a slightly different rate in the conversion but as I said, it's usually a couple of pence difference

XE.com is a really good site for currency conversion, they also have a mobile app I think.
