Well done wibble I say - not something I would attempt myself, I prefer to be on terra firma. Mind you, I do remember some fairly big swells out on the water a couple of years ago - I'l see if I can find a picture or two. |

There's no way I would have attempted this had she not been in dry dock !! Certainly gave me a new found respect for those old sailors who not only did it without a safety harness .. but in high seas and gales and they had to let go of the ropes to work the sails !! Fair do's to them !! Braver than me  OH told me afterwards that apparently it was on most haunted and is one of the 5th most haunted places in the UK with one of the most seen 'spirits' being a young sailor who fell from the rigging !!! glad he told me that gem AFTERWARDS !! |
