You may remember a certain guy on Youtube who goes by the name of “de jay” and who has become notorious for vaping very unsafe builds. On one video, he was vaping an incredibly low resistance build with a towel wrapped around his mod, presumably because it was too hot to hold. Then his battery vented.
Anyway, it turns out that this guy is also a vendor on Ebay UK. His user ID is angelizlive. You can tell that it’s the same guy as “de jay” by following the links to his videos in his listings. He sells atomisers that have been modified for cloud chasing, with pre-made coils already installed in them.
Pre-made coils are often aimed at new vapers, but some of his coils are explicitly advertised on Ebay as 0.03 ohms! What? And if you watch the videos, he admits that some of the builds that come installed in the atties he’s selling have caused his batteries to vent. Facepalm Since he completely disregards even the most basic safety precautions and makes dangerous builds, I thought that I should warn people not to buy his pre-coiled atties. And if you do, please don’t use the included coils unless you hate your face and limbs!
Please feel free to repost this post on any other forum or vaping group. It would be great if you could help to spread the word.

They are having a good old fashioned witch hunt over there with pitch-forks and torches, several members have complained to eBay and although I normally hate that sort of thing I don't have a grain of sympathy for the little scrot.

He's an absolute bleeping idiot, and seeming as he's KNOWINGLY putting people in danger (he already knows that these builds can and will make your batteries vent), some type of action should be taken against him. However, I can only see this having a negative effect on the vaping community as a whole; either nothing happens against him and he turns into some sort of time-bomb, or the press will eat this type of thing up and generalize the entire vaping community as being as senseless and as stupid as him, as we all know the press never does any type of solid research into any of the positive sides of vaping as it is

I thought fleabay didn't allow the selling of vape gear? Surely a few complaints would get him booted. Sure he could easily set up again with a new account, but shouldn't be too hard to spot his low-ohm deals again?

Apparently it's just any tobacco or nic products, zero nic juice and hardware is allowed.

I hope he is banned from eBay and everywhere else! People who aren't sure could end up buying these coils and things, thinking they are ok....he's a vaper therefore......

It's stupid, dangerous and doesn't help vapers in any way.

As a responsible ebay user I've attempted by the normal means to report his listing for the mephisto with the 0.03ohm coil, unfortunately they don't have a category for 'dangerous goods'. I'm gonna phone them in the morning, someone could end up seriously injured. I have to do something!!
