Probably is for the mobile phone, it has a full kit for a Nokia 3210  I might get my old one out one day & try it my first ever sat nav a tom tom one had a wire on the screen as well to pick up the signal but apart from them I cannot see wires being needed for anything else The satnav has a 'sharks fin' at the back, doesn't work though, a bad connection, according to my satnav I live somewhere in the Irish sea |

I have had sat navs that bad in the past my new one even knows when there is road works and traffic jams
