Ahoy thar!
Just joined the board, been reading it a lot though so I thought it was about time I registered
Anyway, my real name is Steve, I'm 42 and currently living in Poplar (east London) I finally quit ciggie's after 31 years last April when I bought an EVOD starter kit. I haven't had a ciggie, or even wanted one, since the moment I got it!
Gone through quite a few different clearomizers and have just recently bought an iTaste MVP V2 and an iClear30 S both of which are brilliant. I'll probably end up buying the Aspire Nautilus BDC, unless peeps have better suggestions? I previously owned a mini protank3 but for some reason it made my lips really sore
After reading these boards, especially the mixology ones, I've decided to take the plunge and try and make some DIY juices. Not sure whether to by a kit at first or go for seperates - I guess buying it all seperately will be cheaper in the long run? For juice concentrate I'll probably go the easy route at first and get some Red Astaire to test the waters with.
Knowing me I'll order about a million different concentrates by the end of the week, 'cos i do like to tinker
Anyway, enough of that wall of text! I'll try not to be a lurker!

Hi Arf, welcome onboard. I started mixing using a kit. It gave me the basics and meant that I didn't waste money buying the wrong stuff. Once I had the hang of it, I then splashed out on separate chemicals and have not looked back since. I just stick to a tobacco mix, a menthol mix and a few fruit juice mixes. But I must confess, I do have loads of other flavour concentrates that I will get around to trying someday!!! Anyways, keep reading on here and you will not go far wrong.

Arf You've obviously been reading through the posts, once you start mixing your concs drawer gets bigger and bigger and bigger and there's always another flavour that you NEED, its great fun though, go seperates, you get more for your money

ArfThere's a (fairly) regular get-together of vapers in London - you should check it out. The next one is being organised here

hi and welcome Arf - nice to have you aboard and regarding the mixing - just open a thread in the mixing forum and ask ask ask - that's what we all did and do

A warm welcome to you Arf. We love mixing . . . . and buying concentrates on here. Sensible choice, starting with ' standalone ' flavours whilst you get to grips with the process.

Don't know if its just me but maybe a post listing what it was that you and others actually started off with and how they got on with it would encourage newbie wannabe mixers like myself and save us making the same mistakes of either over or under ordering various items and liquids? Arf was it maybe the drip tip on the mini protank?
