What kind of idiot (work with me, I'm trying my hardest to use forum-friendly language!) spends nearly £350 on a ticket/hotel package to see one of their idols in concert and loses the fu... Sodding ticket?

Me! I'm that kind of idiot! The kind of idiot nobody wants to be.

Kate Bush probably won't play live again and missing it, especially through my own bloody stupidity would kill me.

I'm feeling pretty low at the moment and could do with as many good vibes as I can get as I wait to see if Eventim can replace my ticket. Despair or elation awaits me, no middle ground.

How did you pay? If credit card I think you can work with that through the bank, proof of purchase plus record of seat allocation?

That's one way of putting it! Thankfully it is a seated ticket, so I'm hoping I can pick up a replacement on the day, but if the promoters say no, I can't see my credit card company giving a toss.

But I'll turn every room in the house upside down in search of the bloody thing before admitting defeat. The thought of the cleanup operation scares me.

Go out the main door with a piece of paper in your hand. Walk back in and look at likely places - windowsills, mantelpiece, cupboard shelves. Sit in every seat, and search under and around cushions. Even look in drawers in kitchen. Check vaping box(es) and then check down the side of your bed

Presuming it came via post so look for the envelope as ticket could be inside still? really feel for you, sit quiet close your eyes and mentally try and retrace your steps from when you first got the ticket but sorry to say you have to Relax to do this, that's a tall order but gota be worth a try? good luck and let us know if you find it you do

How long have you had your ticket is it recent did you buy from ticketmaster as they let you reprint at home I have had a lot off ticketmaster

There must be some back up system Bren  . . . you can't surely be the only person that's ever misplaced a concert ticket.

I am with Perpetua here BrenD - give them a call - they should have the records of payment and where they have sent the ticket - you don't want a second ticket - just a replacement - don't give up - this will be sorted

I have emailed them with all of the details, so they'll be able to see where I'm meant to be sat etc, but I expect they'll be able to come up with any number of excuses for not helping me.

All I can do now is wait, well until calling them tomorrow at least, and twitch every time my phone vibrates.

My little puss cat seems a lot brighter and more affectionate than he has been for a few days, just as I was about to book a vets appointment for him. Oh god Bren, I remember how excited you were the day you got the ticket. As others have said, you can't be the only person ever to have lost a ticket, they must have a contingency solution. Fingers crossed!
