advice on no res wire pls

.25mm or .32mm res for microcoil, cut your legs as short as you can handle i then use .20mm n-res for the legs.

Works a treat for most clearos, also good for Sophia

Personally I always use .25 NR wire no matter what size Res wire i'm using, it's just a decent size and seems optimal for welding. Of course if you're using an atty where .25 is too thick for contacts then you'd need to drop down to maybe .20.
