Hey kind peeps... Just a final reassurance if you'd be good enough. I fly tomorrow, I have filled my clearos and put them and some spare juice in my suitcase in a clip lock pot padded with tissue. I'll pack my charger too. I'm taking my charged batteries in a glasses case in my handbag. Is that the form?
Thanks in advance! Not worried about taking any juice on the plane, won't need it till I get there anyway. xxx

Sounds fine to me, I think you won't get any hassle. I normally take all my stuff through as hand luggage and deal with all the questions through security. Never had anything taken off me and I travel a lot. Enjoy your trip and don't worry, all will be hunky dorey!

When you say batteries are you talking 18650 batteries? Or ego batteries? Only reason I ask is if putting batteries in a case together make sure you cover the ends up with some sticky tape or something. I have a horror story of when I had a couple of 14500 batteries that came out of a case in my pocket full of change and ended up meeting themselves and my Jean pocket!!! Was probably the scariest thing to happen to me vape wise. Was on a bridge walking to work when next thing there was soaring heat from my pocket

Yeah they will be fine. For peace of mind you could just stick a bit of cellotape or similar over the end and make sure they are turned off. Sure it's not needed but with batteries your better off being over cautious, especially on a plane

All my liquids and clearos leaked on my last journey. (in hand luggage...) I'd suggest some small food bags, or a lot of tissue.

Before getting on the plane I always empty my tanks and make sure bottles of juice are firmly sealed and then put in ziplock bags. Ready for filling upon landing!

Definitely empty before flight, as ours leaked slightly during flight to Turkey, all batts went in sealed plastic bag you can get near customs, and the clero's went in another. No problems at either the UK end or in Turkey.

Use cartomisers on flights (for stealth vaping naturally) - clearo's are best emptied prior to departure as they WILL leak
