The lovely folks on here have recommended a great looking vapouriser, which i'm buying today, and Joose Juice for some tester liquids. I smoke about 30 menthol cigarettes a day,so thought 24mg menthol liquid was the way to go..however,i have to choose the PG/VG ratio and i have no idea what they are. Can anyone help please? Thanks

Hey beccymac. Higher PG will give you more throat hit and some say it carries flavour better (personally I can't tell the difference in flavour). Higher VG will be smoother and less harsh on your throat and will give you more vapour. Personally I prefer a 50/50 blend, but why don't you get a couple of different ratios so you can see which one suits you better?

PG = intense flavour and lots of throat hit VG = mellow flavour and lots of vapor

As above, I use 50/50vg pg, joose joose menthol is a pretty strong flavour and doesn't really require steeping. beccymac

Also the higher the VG the thicker viscosity it is which makes 80%+ VG mixes difficult to wick in certain tanks. A 50/50 is a great place to start, plenty of throat hit and flavour while also providing ample amounts of vapour

50/50 for me, both shop-bought and in my own mixing. It is the perfect mix of flavour and a good amount of vapour!

50/50 or 60/40 (pg/vg) is what I would go for beccymac - yeah you can try 70/30 (pg/vg) but you'll cough like crazy....you might even cough like crazy at 60/40. The coughing isn't caused by the 'e-cig being too strong' but by the high PG content. I've let people try my e-cig and the general reason for not liking them amongst my friends is that they are 'too strong' when actually what they mean is the PG is too high. See above jane

just as lairey said - experiment a bit - if you order for example a 50/50 a 40vg60pg and a 60vg40 pg you can try- the difference is not too big - so you won't waste any liquid

Hi there can I also suggest that if you are going with the menthol from joose juice that you pop a couple other flavours in your basket. I say this because when vaping our tastes do change over time and as a previos menthol cigarette smoker myself, there was only so much menthol I could vape before trying some of the fruity liquids. If you get both and you are not sure about the menthol then you can add it to some fruits for a nice combination and at the price of Joose Juice liquids you won't go wrong with a little tester
