The 'fans' think that it's funny that Erlkonigan have outsmarted the clone makers by knocking out a cheaper device - all they've really done is show everyone that they're charging well over the odds for their wares and that they're taking the piss out of their customers.

They wick ring that Erl sells is €7.50 and the steel tank is €29.90 - rip-off pricing.
Bought the clone for €15 - sod Erlkonigin.

And you have the "elitist" tossers trying to justify £150 for an atty (after you buy tank and DT) when the clone from AF is pretty much 1:1

I read somewhere that the original erlkonigin and the Erlprinz are made in China anyway? =/

I will support modders when they wake up and stop charging people silly money for a battery holder.
Regulated devices I can understand but a copper tube with a button and top cap for £200 that you can get anyway as they're all sold out, yeah right.. But they seem to get away with it yet complain when China clones them for $15

Yes i know i thought it was Erlkönigin's own clone of their genuine.
If you look back at one of my older posts on this thread, thats what i bought.

Was asking if your opinions you gave were on the Erlprinz (direct from them) or if you were talking about the clone from angelfiremods or group buy etc..

Now we're both on the same page or at least the same book!!!

The pic I posted wasn't mine, was from the clone thread that someone I speak to on the FT forum posted.
He has an authentic and the clone from angelfiremods. He also has an erlprinz on the way.

Having also spoke to the guys at erlkonigin, they told me that parts are not changeable as the Erlprinz is a standalone product!!!

But the clone i put the pic up of Is fully swappable will all authentic parts and the add-on drip tips etc.

So for anyone in the market, the clone from AF is the same one for sale @ FT for $20 and you can replace the drip tip, tank etc

Thats odd when i tried to screw the drip tip from my original on it seemed like it was going on ok, just tried it again after what you just said and its not. The threads are different, good job i didn't try and screw it right on. Crafty buggers stopping you from making it look like the expensive one on the cheap. Metal tank seemed to go on ok though, mind you i didn't put any juice it so it prob dont fit right either.

I'm obviously only going on what erlkonigin told me themselves but I did make a comment at the time along the lines of "I bet they wouldn't tell you even if they did fit just to make you splash out €140"
