Hi All, Still around - things are still very painful. Scyll and Crissie - I will be knocking on doc's door as soon as they open. There is something sticking out on right-hand side (rib) which shouldn't be!!!!

Since I've moved here doc has called me in for several blood tests - she had doubled the dose of my statins (Atorvastatin) to 40mg, the last blood test, just before Christmas said okay. But I've felt lousy since the increase.
Will get thing sorted when life is back to normal.

JERRY!!! Have you been missing too? We weren't together were we???? The ole brain ain't working too good at the moment!!!!

I will try to contact Doc tomorrow, I really want to see her - she is a bus ride away. We now have a new A&E (not Tunbridge Wells now, but Pembury)and that is two bus rides away!!! If I feel really bad in morning, I will get one of the kids to take me.
Eldest son is visiting tomorrow so will see what happens.

It is feeling a bit easier but it's when I want to sleep - it's the side I sleep on!! Also I really have to drag myself up by the bedclothes. This 'getting old' is wonderful!!!!! MM xxx

It really does sound as though you have broken a rib Im hoping your son takes you to the A&E tomorrow, at least then you will know what damage you have done. I hope your taking painkillers, they may help with the pain at night xx

Yes Bel, I have painkillers - I have to take them for osteoporois & arthritis. 500mg soluable paracetomol plus a load of other things.
Must admit I have been taking more than normal at the moment. See what tomorrow brings. MM xxx
