New B&M vape shop in Airdrie

Miracles do happen.  We finally have a decent looking vape shop in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire.  After being stuck with online shops only, or buying bottom of the barrel juices and CE4 kits from newsagents or an indoor market stall, we have a shop selling good juices, RBAs and mods.  Even better, It's only 10 yards from our front door.   (pity my bank balance).

Not been in myself yet, but PinkyPuff was in today and she commented on the range of advanced gear they stock.  They are infinity vape on Alexander street, beside the new tattoo studio if anyone in the area wants to check them out.  Will pop in for a chat and a look tomorrow after work myself.

I should add I'm not affiliated with this store in any way, but I'm just excited to have a shop in town.

So finally got the chance to visit this shop and damn was I disappointed.

The owner seemed decent enough until he started talking about a woman who visited the shop before me. He made comments about her nationality, her husband (who he had not met) and her knowledge and taste in mods (because she likes pipe mods, but didn't want one that had custom threads for attys).

This poor fellow didn't realise that the lady he was talking about was she who must be obeyed, otherwise known as my boss, PinkyPuff . I still haven't let the guy know that this has cost him two potentially good customers 3 doors away from his shop. Why do some people feel the need to talk about others behind their backs? Anyways, enough said, this guy has shot himself in the foot, losing two good customers and being pretty sure that we'll never recommend him to anyone we know.

Since he still doesn't know that he was talking less than kindly about my Mrs behind her back, I'll be interested in seeing his face when we walk past his shop arm in arm.

Back to internet shopping I guess.

 What a dreadful, nasty man...especially as PinkyPuff is so lovely, regardless of nationality.

I agree with gill2009, let people know how bad this person is.

What an a******e this guy must be. Even if he has opinions about someone he should keep them to himself, really sounds like discrimination to me.

Personally I wouldn't want to give anybody my well earned cash who does this sort of thing.

That's why this forum is what it is . . . . . . . .THE BEST ! Nobody on here questions your nationality, sex, preference in mods, atty's, taste in juice or whatever your preferred tipple is on a Saturday night. Why would the nationality of PinkyPuff or her preference in mods be an issue for him ? Well maybe, just maybe, when she began to speak no matter her accent, PinkyPuff actually knew more about what he was selling than he did himself. What a tosser. Methinks his next purchase could be a padlock and bar for the front door if he continues in this manner. Was thinking of popping down to Airdrie for a look, but thanks thatguy if I'm in Airdrie I won't waste my time.

When I visited he seemed friendly enough ,but after seen I am not a newbie he wasn't interested to offer anything.As for trying out juices I felt like situation was -If you buy,you can try.Pretty much I am disappointed,altho is next door I prolly won't enter second time.

Did he actually have any knowledge or just another one on The "get rich quick" business model like soo many people are doing with the vape industry.

It was my impression a B&M is there to test juices in person, get advice and generally be a place you can go for face to face chit-chat :s

On the plus side, bank manager will be chuffed to bits

Sounds like one of the "quick buck" brigade. Also with no knowledge of how strong a community vapers can be. Especially this community at AAEC.

Well I manage to try 2 juices,ask for raspberry and he just show me the bottle,didn't give me to try or sniff.

Now the prices are pretty high on juices and kits.I think he is more after people new to vaping that gonna buy simple kit,then back for something more advanced.More experienced vaper won't buy ,because not gonna pay so much for a clones he sell.
He vape himself on more advanced gears.
