I'm using windows 7, i.e 8.

I use crap cleaner and run it daily.

I also used the internet options clean up, temp files etc.

I don't know if any of that has cleaned the cache I can not seem to find it.

My hard drive is C and D.

C= 176Gb and Free space is 136Gb

D = 265 Gb and its all free.

I have run everything again and no problems found.

I checked out the puppy thread just now as I know I had problems there, this is what happened.

On page 2 - I could see all the posts this time, but no pictures, and I know there is a picture on post 16 as I asked.

I left it sat there, didn't touch anything, haven't got anything else in use.

After 4 minutes a little box came up on post 16, with a cross in it. I left it 7 minutes but that did not change.

I clicked on new posts, then went back to the puppy thread, and hey presto I could see the picture.

Sorry to keep coming back to this, but just updating for those who are trying to help.

I have cleared all my bookmarks and pms.
Checked all my settings and notifications etc.

I can see some pictures ( older ones ) but am seeing none recently posted.
I can not post a pic, the add image box comes up blank.

I can post, and so far tonight I can see written posts.

Off to check videos............

Have you updated Java recently sammy13? I have no idea if it will help, but it sorted out my posting image problems a couple of weeks ago.

If you go to the Java website, it will check which version you have.

Thankyou, I downloaded the new version.

Well all is working well once again, but I am still having a problem with pictures and seeing them, some I can see some I can't, so I give up really, maybe it is my internet I will do a speedtest

I think download speed may be your problem. My results are...


Your settings on Avast may be causing a delay but I don't know much about that AV. I've found lately Windows Defender seems to do a good job on it's own.

It means you are a lucky person.

18.8mbps is good. That's quite fast. Not exactly Seoul fast (That's in Korea, not Roscopecotrain speed) but 3 times as quick as the home of Vapefest.

Seen in your other thread you seem to have it sorted but just had to say djs has it right, you have a very respectable internet speed assuming your not on something fancy like Virgins fibre connection.

For what it's worth. I had nothing but problems with Avast.

I uninstalled Avast and now run and have been for 2 years, Microsoft security essentials. Give it a try, it's a free download.
