Newbie - advice please

Ok. Brilliant. I am towards the SD Keyring and will buy one to begin with and see how I go. So my shopping list is.....

Flavours are something that everyone will have a different opinion of, so I would say just try what takes your fancy and if there are any that you don't like, either stick them in the classified's on here or offer them up for swaps.

Looks like an excellent choice to me Don. It's a tricky one to say how long everything will last as it's all down to how much you will end up vaping However, you will find vaping so much more relaxing than chewing gum

Hi Superdon wishing you a warm welcome to the forum ...sorry im late to the party but it looks like you have been well advised... from your original post i was gonna suggest the SD keyring so you have made a great choice.

on a side note each carto should last you over a week so the 9 you have ordered will last more like 2 months. the batteries should last up to 300 cycles.. so a year usage there and the juice i would say you will be using 1ml / day.... you'll end up saving a packet not to mention vaping is fun and enjoyable good luck and keep asking the questions

I will also add that it's still ok to smoke whilst your getting used to vaping , you will find that your cig usage drops without you realising

Completely agree Storm . . . it's important not to put yourself under any pressure to not smoke cigarettes IMHO . . . you'll find yourself adjusting to vaping at a pace that suits you personally.

So, now I just need to know how to use it all!

Any tips before I start or do I just our a cartomiser on and try it?

The new kangers, do I just put juice in and go for it?

First time you fill the kanger, I think it takes about 30 drops of fluid, either use the condom method (someone will be along soon with a video for you to see on that and you dont need to be over the age of 18 to view lol) or take of the little bung and drip into the top for the 30 drops and then slowly 2 or 3 at a time keep going till a drop comes out the battery end. Blow through to remove any excess and leave to stand for a few minutes. Some people say 30 mins or over night, but if you had drops coming out the other end on a slow fill then 5-10 mins will prob be fine. Pop your drip tip on the end and your good to go.

When you loook through the drip tip you will see the filling is soggy, like a slush puppie. when u see it's not so soggy looking top it up again with some more drips, you can do that straight down the drip tip, just give it a blow so you dont get any residue on the tip and suck it up

Remember to make sure no fluid comes out of the battery end by using a good blow through because the sd keyring is an automatic and may get leaky fluid into the battery and it may stop working.

i hate to nit pick *but i'll duck before i get clobbered* 30 drops is a bit optimistic ...20 should do it

as its a SD keyring i would take the carto off the battery to refill as you dont want to get any juice on it that could danage the auto suck switch... while you have the carto off you may as well take off the drip tip and drip the juice around the edges avoiding the tube in the middle
