Hi, would any of you Edinburghonians have any recommendations for a nearby hotel for the Sat 15th night ?

Nosmo-King Glad you got sorted. I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to help you find somewhere but work is chaotic at the mo.

Well, I say hotel, but......lol. the Counan guest house. It'll do for one night, apparently has onsite parking, and seems very close to the Scotch Hop

Nosmo-King While I don't know that hotel I did Google and it's got a terrible reputation on Tripadvisor. I'll see if I can find you some other places to look at. It might be worth moving slightly further away from Hop Scotch for a better room for same or very little more money. Edinburgh has an excellent bus service so travelling shouldn't be a big problem.

Thnx taz96 but please, really no need, I've already booked it, Edinburgh can be a difficult place to find digs at shortish notice. I used to travel a lot in my trade, so am used to a 'broad' range of accommodation . Mrs Nosmo, however, is a different matter, but she does like a vodka or three which can help lol. Tis only for one night after all .

Nosmo-King Fair enough, I was just a tad concerned for you both. Hope it's ok for you. It's just a short walk from the pub and by the time you're heading back.....you may not be "entirely" aware of your surroundings...
