Hi all, Collected my Evod pro tank 2 this morning from the Post Office, so just had my first proper go at vaping. Forgot to press the button at first and thought it was disappointing haha. Now sussed it out and very pleased. Chose 2 flavours and gone with the strong mint, which is very nice. Got a butterscotch in reserve. I presume I just rinse the tank when it runs out and I want to try the other flavour? Anyway, thanks for all your help last week.

Some people just wait till your empty and put new flavour in and vape through the flavour change. It is up to you how ya do it.

Yep, if you do rinse it out just give it a dry burn and your good to go.
Ideally I would try and keep your mint/menthol vapes in their own tank, you won't be able to get the taste out fully which will leave the butterscotch tasting absolutely foul.
Menthol and minty vapes are an absolute bugger for tainting anything they are in.
If you got any spare coils it would be best just to swap out the coil and keep the other one for when you vape mint again.. That's what I would do anyway

No need to clean if you are topping up the juice with the same flavour. I clean my Mini Protanks in warm soapy water, rinse with clean water (under the tap) and either leave to dry on a paper towel (on a window sill or somewhere warm) or thoroughly pat dry with a paper towel. You can prolong the life of the coils too. When you find that the vape tastes burnt or you don't get the same flavour anymore, depending on usage, you can dry burn the coil heads to get rid of all the gunk on the coils and they should last a bit longer. Or stick them in vodka overnight/24 hrs for the alcohol to get rid of the coil build up, just rinse under water and leave to dry. You may want to save the coil heads when they are used up too as you can recoil them yourself with microcoil and cotton wool ( Super-Shiny super duper guide HERE) Gives a much better vape and more flavour than the stock coils!

blacklab - well done on your first vaping day!! With respect to the others, dry burning the coils and rebuilding them may be a few weeks down the line. For the moment, simply get used to reaching for your Evod rather than the fag packet, and enjoy all that clean air and money you are saving When you are ready, ask on here and someone will talk you through the dry burning process (it sounds frightening I know, but it's actually really simple and prolongs the life of your coils by another week). It's true, you can make a great little microcoil and pop that in the Protank atomiser head instead of the coil and wick that's there at the moment, but TBH the replacement heads are so cheap compared to a pouch of baccy or 20 smokes that you will still save enormous amounts of money by just popping in a new one when the flavour dies off or starts tasting burnt. Do keep them; either one of us will re-do them for you, or you can have a go yourself, with help and guidance from here. +1 for the advice on keeping the flavours in separate tanks, although if you like T-Juice's 'Minty the Toff', it's essentially Murray Mints; butterscotch and mint

And I saw 4 vapers in Aberdeen city centre this lunch time (excluding me ) One I gave an AAEC card too (always have them in my handbag for vapers) and then had someone at the bus stop tell me to 'just give it up' like 'Hello!!! tis not illegal and no worse than caffeine' (she didn't say anymore at that point So yeah welcome to our lovely world blacklab and enjoy vaping..... I never got on well with the protank heads so had to battle recoiling from pretty early on but still

I was not suggesting you try rebuilding, was suggesting if you are gonna switch between menthol and something sweet it would be best to change your coils. Your coil is the bit that screws in the bottom and heats up in order to vaporise the eliquid. Protank and similar tanks have replaceable "heads" which is where the coil is. Hope that doesn't sound too condescending... Its hard to try and explain it without knowing just what your knowledge is of how they work. And as mentioned, well done buddy You've found the best place on the net

This kit luckily came with a coil already fitted and 5 spare ones, so that should keep me going for a while anyway....before I need to tinker with any of it.
