I asked on another thread what is the difference between a mini genitank, and a mini aerotank and that was answered.
Now unless anyone knows why one of these is pants, then either seem a good tank for me.
However I currently use a mini protank 2 v2.
Would I notice a difference using either of the above? Would my flavour, etc be nicer?
The main difference seems to be that the mini p has airholes in the base, which I have all 3 open, wheras the other tanks have an airflow controller, but as I have never used one of these, I have no idea how that compares.
The other difference is the coils, but if I was to use a microcoil and cotton, then that would no longer be dual coil.

If you have to ask then you definitely need it! I do like the aerotanks airflow control cos sometimes I like an airy draw and sometimes I like a tight one. Hmmm... Taifun could do with a contoller on it! Unless it has one and I've not discovered it!

In my experience the aerotank is very good. Much better than the mini protank and also holds much more juice. I like my vape like I do women. Wide and airy. The Aerotank gives me this!

I've got a mini protank II with a standard base, and a miniprotank II that I stuck an airflow II base on to. Played about with the air flow but after a while I ended up adjusting it to give much the same draw as the standard one lol. Not sure how it would affect a dual coil one but if your going to use a single coil anyway ..... it would depend on what if any other differences there are.

I keep all 3 holes open.
I didn't actually know that you could fit an airflow controller lol.
I loved the mini p version 1, the 2 is better that it strips down , but I don't know it just doesn't seem as good, could be the pyrex rather than glass maybe.
This is the thread I asked about the other two, and a video comparing them -

This is the airflow controller here - replaces the standard base and is a fraction of the price of a new tank
myepack.co.uk/kanger-mini-airflow-control-valve-v2.html
Might be worth a look about to see if you can get it cheaper or if your buying stuff from elsewhere anyway save a bit on postage ? Can't really see anything in the video in the other post that would make me buy the aerotank (or the genitank) unless I was in the market for a new tank anyway, specially if your going to stick to the single coil. The mini airflow still has the same issues as the normal base ie. a little bit of leakage onto the battery pin through the centre pin but if your used to that like I am it's no big deal.

To be honest sammy13 I don't think there would be much difference in taste etc between the two if you used a microcoil and cotton wool setup. I use a MPT v2 and Aerotank Mini, both with single microcoil/cotton wool and to me they both have same flavour and vapour production. Only difference between them is the AFC, for obvious reasons, but as already stated you can use the mini AFC on a MPT v2 for a cheap upgrade

I think the best upgrade for any kanger tank is to get the unicoil. If you don't want to do your own that is.
