Unscrew it, take the cart off as well, get some tissue, stick it up the cart end, then you blow the end that screws onto the battery, do it until no more uck comes out, then what I do is, refill the cart, put it on the atty, before attatching to battery, give a few dry sucks, then put it on the battery and away to go, must add though, menthol usually stains the atty for a good while unlike most flavours, so you could still have the menthol background to the taste, most people keep an atty just for menthol unless they dont mind the menthol coming through :-)

Thanks very much. I have had that explained to me already and have tried it. I thought perhaps there was something else.... sorry for being thick! I will try it again now.

Not thick at all, it is a learning curve that we all go through and need, it will come Bluebell, it's just not always easy for new people to get it all at once and its so hard to describe things on a pc, that is why the video's are so good, I have had lots of help off os people on here, without them I would still be stuck :-)
Ask as much as you need to, we all really want you and everyone to get the best vaping experience you can :-)

I've the most clapped out taste buds ever Bluebell . . . 36 years of puffing away on 40/50 cigges a day did them no favour's whatsoever . . . and I'll be completely honest with you and the internet at large, I also wear a plate . . . having lost most of my upper teeth as a side effect of smoking that horrendous number of fags a day. So that lump in my chops also dulls taste sensation considerably for me. So, I'm coming from behind all the time . . . and I'm not saying this will happen to you, as I hope your taste buds will recover better than mine . . . but it's the main reason I got into mixing my own juice, I can mix it to a strength that would be way too strong for most people . . . but for me, means I have some flavour. There's always a solution to be had, is what I'm waffling on about, I think.

Thank you Perpetua! No matter what.... I will persevere. I am on peach now (with a new atty) as the menthol made me cough. Its a very weak taste but quite nice. I am wishing now that I had got a Riva as the battery life on my Mini 510-T is dire.... still I cant complain because I knew that before I bought it. I keep looking at the Riva so its only a matter of time before I order one....maybe later today.

everything you have is compatible so all you will need is a riva battery and charger if you wanted to upgrade slowly

If you buy the riva, I would say throw some Kangers in the basket as well, they are a very nice vape, I'm finding them excellent, :-)

It's a type of cartomiser Bluebell. . . which basically means it's a cartridge and atomiser in one. The Kangers do give a lovely flavour, even I can taste juices quite well with them. The important part with any cartomiser is to get your first fill right, use it before the internal wadding is thoroughly moist with juice and all you'll get is a burnt flavour. Done correctly though, they're a much simpler proposition. . . great advice to get some from Sandra.

Decisions Decisions! Do I get the full Riva or just the battery or do I get the Kanger for my little Boge Mini. Thanks all for the help. I will give it some thought.

A couple of Riva batteries, charger & a pack of Kanger's I'd go for Bluebell if it were me . . . not much difference between those and a full Riva kit I'd think.
If you do get just the Kangers, go for the Standard Resistance, rather than the Low . . . as your mini batteries won't cope with the extra oomphage needed for the Low Resistance.

Tbh Bluebell, I would go for what Perpy has said because your battery that you have now is not going to satisfy all your needs, the Riva will last much longer, deliver more and give a better vape, then you can buy the low resistance Kangers which also deliver more, you need flavour and a hit, the Riva and low resistance Kanger will do a much better job, honestly, if I had known about Kangers before it would of saved me a lot of searching for a better vape :-) Up to you, do what you think best, but that is the advice I would give to anyone starting out in the vaping world
