Finally got some new vape mail from FT to play with. Giddy like a little girl in a doll factory. I had been watching this package since it entered the country, all the way up till it was like 30 miles from me it kept moving on it's slow meandering journey. THEN STOP! I'm like what the hell it's 30 minutes away and it's not moving. How does it take 24 hours to travel 30 miles.!?!?! I then realized yesterday was Veterans Day here in the U.S. and a national holiday for the mail service. Gorgeous Lunar mod, my second Hobo V2, and a Little boy RDA, plus a few drip tips and a new top cap for my Doge. Top cap on an authentic Doge. So glad this fit one of my favorite cloud chuckers.

Well the day before yesterday was clone vape mail day and today is authentic vape mail day lol. Got a Tug boat V2 w/ Steam cap and the new Tug boat mod. Loving this setup. It's light, hit's hard, and looks bad ass IMO.

For an aluminum bodied mod it hits like a full copper. Liking the floating magnet button system it uses. Very smooth throw.

Very nice, there is a lot of stupid snobbishness about aluminium in the vaping world, it's a better conductor than brass, I blame too many youtube reviewers thinking heavy = quality, when in most things in the modern world the opposite is true. Though aluminium is soft and you need to be more careful with the threads.

I am an electrician and we use aluminum a lot. It's a very good conductor. I have been wanting a good aluminum mod for a while and when I saw this I jumped on it and got a good deal on it with the combo. Me right now. >.>

Lol ok gonna make this my all in one thread lol. Made another box mod today. Most times I make mine with a mosfet switch to take the load off the main switch. This guy wanted strait switch and wiring as simple as I could make it lol anddd in 26650 batteries. I traded him the box I made for an authentic dark horse mod. And the Dark Horse 26650 mod.

Less is more on the box mod obviously Most of the time I like to build boxes with a mosfet switch cause most small switches can only handle a max load of 5 amps. The mosfet acts as the main switch being able to handle hundreds of amps and the small switch just switches that mosfet. I have seen just switch setups fail after a month or so with .01/.02 coil builds. Then again I've seen them last almost a year. The switch I used was a good one and I think it will last a good while, lol maybe a long time depending on how he vapes the box.

I have been wanting a good aluminum mod for a while and when I saw this I jumped on it and got a good deal on it with the combo. Me right now. >.> Electronic engineer myself, and I can second your advice on Aluminium's condictivity, but both aluminium and copper suffer from being very soft metals which means less durable threads. This is why I'd go for brass. Best compromise on conductivity and durability in my opinion, but everyone has different requirements. Just because I'm willing to lose a little in the voltage drop stakes to get a mod that will lat longer, doesn't mean everyone is. Best advice...buy what suits you, not what suits a reviewer or someone on a forum. Nothing wrong with copper, brass or aluminium, just decide what meets your own requirements and dont let others put you off. Great post Resnik
