Going to be giving mixing a try for the first time as LF has a 29% off code this weekend and i thought its perfect to get those supplies in now.I have a load of ready made concentrates from bumble bee(around 11) and wish to make them all up as if i dont like them "flavor wise"i can give them to my bro inlaw. My prefered mix is mainly 70 vg 30 pg or 80-20 only due to the PG in large amounts gives me rashes ect so 50/50 mixes is my base point.I have a couple of 100ml bottles of pg so that side is sorted so i just need to get(nic base pg)and vg bottles but is there anythink else i will need like sweetners ect as these are premade concentrates im using ? Also im going to use 50ml bottles with a 20% flavoring so i use the whole 10ml of concentrate up in one go ... is that wise ? or not. Nicotine Base Liquid 52mg (100/0 PG/VG) drops/ml 5.77 ml PG (Propylene Glycol) drops/ml 3.23 VG (Vegetable Glycerine) drops/ml 31 T Juice single flavour "example" (0/0 PG/VG) drops/ml 10 Result: 6mg Nicotine (20/80 PG/VG) 50ml the concentrate does say it has pg in along with the flavoring but no % given. Any tips or tricks i need are welcome

Hi there sloppyvape have you had a look at the mixing calculator? tis pretty good . I personally would work in mls rather than drops. You would be surprised at the different sizes of drops you get from different bottles. I would also do a couple of 5ml testers first before you make a bigger quantity. You may want to tweak the 5ml samplers until you have what suits you. My first stop would be the .mixing calculator though at the top of the page

OK, if you prefer a VG heavy mix, I would suggest getting VG nic base as opposed to PG. You need to assume your concentrates are 100% PG, so for an 20PG/80VG mix you wouldn't need to add any PG, just 20% flavouring and VG nic base and VG. If you haven't got your VG yet, Boots/Superdrug/Chemist is the cheapest option, just ask for glycerin, you should find it with the cough mixtures. If you're sure they won't go to waste if you don't like them, then no reason not to mix all 50ml in one go, but it leaves you little room to tweak to your taste. Sweetener is a good additive, as is koolada if you like fruity type flavours and vanillin if you like creamy/dessert flavours HTH

Hi sloppyvape, I agree with sue1952 it's wise to make up some smaller amounts first rather than jump in at 50ml. Once you're happy with the mix, then by all means scale up. For mixing calculator purposes your concentrates will be in a PG carrier unless stated otherwise. Sweeteners are something of a personal taste and you'll probably find that it depends on the individual flavour that you're mixing and your personal taste. Also as lairey says you're probably best to get some VG nicotine base rather than PG nicotine base, as you're going VG heavy. Best of luck with your mixing adventures

sloppyvape I always get my vg from Boots as do a lot of other members of the forum. You just want a bottle of glycerine £1.29 for 200 or maybe 250mls. Find it next to the cough mixture...............save you lots of money. £2.58 for 500 mls as opposed to nearly £4.59 from fleabay ...........Sue

not quite as cheap as Boots, but if you get through VG at anything like the rate I do, and can't be bothered going into town every time you get through 200ml, then a litre here for £7 delivered is your best bet sloppyvape
