I'm still happily using a Trustfire as well scooter and it works absolutely fine - I've got plenty of cheapo batteries too that also work fine. I'm probably being slightly paranoic - comes from spending time on ECF

Paranoid is healthy Dave..you never want to be in a position where a fag is a viable option. Yes, for sure within 10 to 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, there is a place you can buy fags where you live. That will never be the case with vaping supplies. Sadly fags shorten your life span and indeed ruin the latter years of it, so a good stock of vapng supplies and back-ups is a must.

My first TR-001 lasted well over a year, before one channel died. But that was probably my fault for jamming in over long 17670's. :-[ I went on to get another and a Ultrafire WF188, as a back up. But, I've always looked quite longingly at the Pila chargers . . . which is a cause of some concern to me!

Jeez, tell me about it. I thought I was well off fags and wouldn't go back, even if there was no vaping. That thought lasted about 10 secs after I found my Lavatube went tits up last night, I was extremely grateful I had my riva as backup. EXTREMELY! My thoughts turned straight away to fags! Even I was surprised. Mind you, I have to say that vaping on the riva was quite a nice experience

I use A TR003 4 channel charger and it's superb, it even takes the larger protected 18650's with room to spare At the plug socket I use a belkin power timer that shuts off all power after 6hrs so there's no chance of overcharging. I've been through quite a few battery makes and the one's that stand out above all have been the AW IMRs, Pricey little buggas but in the long run more than worth it. And for those on a budget, the two for £6.99 IMRs from mojurepublic perform very well in the lavatube. Just my twopence worth
