If it's any help jmw2309...I have short hair...so have the thin-bladed GHD's...which straighten or curl. Long hair needs the wide bladed GHD's.

I got my g/f the Gold Classic ones last Christmas and she was well happy to say the least. She has had umpteen different kinds before that but apparently the GHD ones blow them all out of the water.
Bl**dy pricey though.

Tell her you think Sinead o'Connor is really sexy, get her a pair of clippers, give her a skinhead and spend the rest on vape gear safe in the knowledge that you'll also save a fortune on shampoo and conditioners. Jobs a good 'un

I have long thick straight/wavy (not very) hair.... I got cheap hair straighteners off ebay yonks ago. Cost less than £20 new.... Why exactly does she need GHD's? Is she getting you a provari 3? Seems a bit vain. Tell her beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that you think she is beautiful the way she is and get her a bath bomb from Lush and an orange Sorry but over £100 for the missus crimbo pressie? Is she having a larf?

Don't get the Eclipse, I've had 2 sets go tits on me and even when they worked I wasn't impressed for the money, now got them to replace with the limited edition rose gold and so far so good.

I got my Mrs a pair of GHDs years ago...still has them today, well worth the money iirc I paid £100-120 but back then they didn't have multiple versions. Find your local hairdressers that stick them, take a pic of your Mrs to show them and they should point you in the right direction

One rule here. The most expensive then you cant be accused of being a cheapskate. If they are the wrong ones you can always exchange them for the ones she wants. You get a bit of a refund, she's happy, win win situation. Up there for thinking, down there for dancing

Pop into a salon and ask the hairdressers and they will advise you on what's the best buy but don't just take one opinion though.
You can phone vidal sassoon or nicky clarke and see what they recommend.
