Triple concentrate custard

OK I know there is a thread kicking around somewhere about @ukflavours  Vanilla Custard Triple concentrate but I can't find it in my dazed and confused state.

I just thought I would share this mix. with the custard lovers. It's not really new but it does use the triple concentrate.

And it's bloody gorgeous

Mixed at 75/25 VG/PG 12mg Nic

UK Flavours                 Vanilla Custard Triple Concentrate    10%
Perfumers Apprentice     Dulce de Leche                             3%
UK Flavours                 Sweetener                                    1%

Steep for 3 weeks.

I might try adding a spot of French vanilla delux just to try but its pretty darn good as it is.

Pity @ukflavours dont do Dulce de leche and French vanilla Deluxe Sarah would make even more out of me

Our French Cream is pretty much on par to Dulce de Leche if that helps. I will make a note of the delux and see what I can come up with

You mix sounds yummy too as i am also an avid custard fan myself

If you check the pay it forward thread in the classifieds i have some french cream concentrate up for grabs (amongst some other stuff). I can't vouch for if it tastes like ddl as i've never tried it.

Also uk flavours do a french vanilla concentrate in the normal strength. I've made a version of custardy lovechild using their concentrates, it's pretty yummy so far but i'm trying to let it steep for a while longer. Emphasis on the 'trying' lol

Thanks for that I have tried the UK Flavours French Vanilla but somehow it just isn't the same as the Delux. It seems like it is less creamy, more vanilla if that makes any sense.

I will have a scout around now and see if I have anything I can offer up for the pay it forward

Yeah makes sense. I thought it was ok but not tried the deluxe. would be Cool if you can take the pif offer as it's stalled a little as it does....

It doesn't contain any Acetoin or Acetylpropionyl which French Vanilla Deluxe does, so that will make the difference rughead121 . . . you could try adding 1% or 2% Vanillin to compensate for a more creamy taste though.

You can buy Vanillin ready diluted at around 10% concentration in PG:

Or in powder/crystal form to dilute yourself on Amazon - having a job with C&P tonight, but if you search for 100 gram Vanillin Powder, Mineral Waters supply it.

Despite it being described as a sweetener, I don't find that it is especially rughead121 - but it does add a really nice creaminess to mixes.

Or you can pm me and I will let you have my vanillin crystals which I have no further use of . I'm never in a rush to post things (ask spikey) but you will get them should you want them. Possibly even this side of bahhumbug
