I've had a go at buying one Ian, from the Canadian seller . . . using a credit card as they don't accept PP, I'm not using a bank account as I'd like some protection.

It's accepted the order, but says that it has to be processed manually by the Vendor, so I presume GRBC then get back to you.

I'll keep you posted, if you haven't already taken the plunge yourself.

Im not on the plane just yet but i do want to order one.Perpy,i had one in my basket but i was to worried to order as paypal isnt a payment option.How did you go about ordering yours and what shipping option did you choose?I want one but dont want to get scammed at the same time.I am confused again

Well, I haven't heard anything back from them this morning Ian . . . so I'm no wiser really, but it did say it could take 48hours to process the order, but I'm not holding my breath.

If it does proceed, the payment will be made from my Credit Card so I'll have some protection and I'd suggest you do the same . . . I've a low opinion of banks and how they'd handle any problems.

I dont have any credit cards Perpy. I now only have one bank account so i guess thats me out for now.I so wish paypal was an option as i would have one ordered without hesitation.

No protection on a debit card, Blue - and anyway, when I went and had a gander, I couldn't even add one to my basket...

I thought it would be protected through visa. You probably can't add one as you know the score with gg resellers not supposed to sell to other countries.

I managed to get one in my cart yesterday and nearly went for it.A lack of protection regarding the payment put me off.I do have Visa on my debit card Blue but i dont feel confident it offers much protection.Oh well,as ive said on UKV,im willing to pay £100 for an odysseus in mint condition.BUMPITY BUMP
