Just received my V3 from fasttech but having major headache coiling it. I use 26 awg kanthal in my kayfun 6 wraps round a 2mm syringe and this gives me 1.4 ohms, I am aiming for a 1 ohm dual coil setup in the V3 but the coils for the kayfun used in the V3 are giving me 0.35 ohms which is too low for my taste. How can I get 1 ohm from the V3, I have run out of 26 AWG and only have 24, 32, 34 left.

Use the coil calculator factor in how many wraps you'd need for a 2 ohm coil with your preferred wire which will be halved when you dual coil the orchid and the jobs a good 'un

This'll Be No Help at All!...... ........I Cheated With My FT V4:- They Sell 4.0 Ohm NR/R Wire Now, 4 of, Twisted into 2 Pairs Gave Me the 1.0 Ohm Total That I Wanted & Made it Easier For Me to Negotiate the Tiny Block Connectors. I Can't Make Micro-Coils With Heavier Gauge Wire....Just Springs!!

Anyone got any idea as to why the OP was having this result? Makes no sense to me.

Anyone got any idea as to why the OP was having this result? Makes no sense to me. Wire much too thick is the simplest answer on this calc you need 19 wraps of 26 AWG per 2 mm coil for 1 ohm and it only gets blue heat flux code for 30 W. 0.25 mm is much more suited to do dual coils for 1 ohm, also 2.5 or 3 mm coil would allow fewer wraps.
