Thanks Chrissie It's a minefield out there of choice and actually understanding what's what I've not got a sweet tooth so i think it's going to be the tobacco flavours for me not the caramel etc. Are the refills better than the prefilled? Yes it really is a minefield, & that's the main aim of this forum, to help folks find the best e-cigs for them at the best price from good suppliers. Even if you buy the prefilled, you can still refill them. Just to help you get to know about the basics, have a look at this thread - allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=newmembers&thread=2349&page=1#74660

Picture of cartomiser without drip tip, you just remove the white bung, cartomisers can be used without a drip tip.

Where in Essex? I grew up in Harlow. Live and work in Romford 2nd chaviest town after Croydon so i'm told Time for a move soon i think.. Hopefully into a nice smoke free property Never realised till recently how much smoking stains and makes everything discoloured and dirty Liking the Riva for an indoors one not as big as i thought

Welcome whufc from me - my second team (lived near there when I was a kid) so lay off you lot! You have picked the perfect combination for your requirements. One small point - there is a typo in Chrissie's post - she meant exchange the atomisers for cartomisers (not cartridges). LR (low resistance) will give you a bigger hit than SR (standard resistance). Best bet for juices is go for a pick and mix - most vendors do one, usually 5 X 5ml, then you can decide what you like before getting bigger bottles. Keep us posted

Was recently playing in a poker tournament and my mate said to me at the break "the woman sitting next to me is smoking one of those electronic cigarettes" Anyway i was knocked out shortly afterwards and was sitting there observing her and thought she seems quite content there vaping away .. need to look at this a bit more seriously So here i am

One minor point - I've found that the SDK isn't too keen on LR Boges...

Richard, the e-cig really is a fantastic alternative to smoking. As well as getting the nicotine, you still get the hand to mouth habit plus the vapour can be so relaxing Dom, the SD Keyrings aren't really built for LR cartomisers, Best to stick with SR ones with them.
