iStick help please!!!!!!

I only use Kayfuns & Taifuns......I coil mine (with silica)to around 2 ohms & on the I-Stick, I don't set it higher than 6.5 watts.............10 watts on a 2.5 coil is too much in my opinion......The I-Stick definitely performs better on a lower wattage than normal.

I am giving up on my istick. It only works when my atty is screwed on very lightly so much so that it wobbles. I am getting peed off with having to faff with it every five minutes. I also got a bendy adapter on Friday hoping that would help but it hasn't. I use aspire glass ts3's with 1.8 bvc coils. Glad I didn't rush in and buy another one. I really liked it when I first got it and feel a bit sad it's not working as it did at the beginning :-(.

Sounds like your atty is compressing the 510 pin in the iStick Jules, are you using an adaptor ?

Yes i am using an adaptor. I have also tried lifting the pins but after a while it starts misbehaving again

I had chew with my wife's using a standard ego adaptor, got one of the flanged type and it's never missed a beat since

Also found a nautilus works fine straight in the 510

I have two adaptors the one i got with the istick and one i bought from a vendor and i still have probs with them both. Think i will just put it aside for now.

I have the same problem. I have to adjust the centre pin with almost every atty change. The adapter that came with it is part of the problem. I'll just use it till it breaks and then go with the new 30W version with spring loaded pin.

lift it and get a small rubber/silicon washer under it to keep it up permanently.

  c1booth I do agree with chrisjw 10 watts to a protank is too much. Think you're fighting a losing battle, look at other tanks if 10watts is where you want to vape.

Jules have you got this style of adaptor, I found other types even supplied with iStick caused the issue you are having.

That looks like the one I am using, it's the one I got with my istick. I also have just an ordinary 510 adapter.

Ah ok Jules maybe they're just fickle.

The ones I had issues with were this type that came with iStick and Fasttech.






The one in my earlier post with the big flange never causes an issue for me.
