I did a pretty scathing review of the godawful heatvape ceram tank and the manufacturers were very sweet about it, thanked me for the review and promised to remedy the faults. The new ceram tank arrived today along with one of these mods!
It's a smart looking thing. A 22mm atty sits just perfectly in the middle. Spring loaded 510. Nice glossy black finish.
on the downside the metal is kinda cheap looking chrome and it feels like the battery isn't well secured inside. When I upend it I can feel the weight shifting inside.
Works very nicely though so far, for the price they're asking it seems like a good buy

Yea like the look of the central 510.

Although "compelling" and I can't stop buying, no more pre orders for me, seems new is out before my last order is even put in the post....!

Nice to see another original, 10 mm longer than an iStick, but that is because of the reversible connector which could be a blessing in disguise as if you just unscrew the atty all the time you would just need to change the adapter if the threads go. I think with these and iSticks they could do a delux version with a better 510 ans stainless steel ends for another $5 or $10 and they would sell like hot cakes.

Thank goodness the manufacturers took your review seriously to right the faults with the tank & they kindly sent you one of the above too, as we get a good early review.  In other words, yes please, paulymeatballs, would love some pix!  Look forward to you reporting how easy or not it is to unscrew an atty/adaptor from the drop down middle. As that's the one thing I'm wondering about.

it's no problem unscrewing atties jess , tried it with a bunch of tanks without issues. On the downside the new improved ceram tank is still useless

it does indeed! quite impressed , seems accurate. Just tested a 0.7ohm build at 9W and it fired at 2.5V
