taz96 quite surprising. No major nic cravings till 30 mins before I got back to the Deen (despite 30 mins vaping in Dundee - and one wifey - toothless - on a stinky flinging me looks of disgust )...

I have a name for that - result!

I will post pics tomorrow. It's Sabbath today

I have yet to use my espresso cups this am

Sorry I never made it in time to catch up with you Jane, but didn't get to bed off nightshift till 7:30 am due to a touch of mechanical trouble with one of the lorries coming back from Inverness through the night. Mrs Striker rolled me oot the bed at 11:45 to get the 12:30m train, so when I did eventually get there about 2 ish I was a bit disorganised. Having said that, I had a brilliant day with the people I did meet and looking forward to catching up with those I didn't in the near future.

LOL gill2009, I hope your not walking about with your bag over your head. Leave it with me, I'll get you and PinkyPuff fixed up with some no problem. I think taz96 is gonna have a go at mixing it herself, if it doesn't work out I'll get her fixed up with some too.

Och and anyone who thinks this pub is like weatherspoons at any time of day think again

We are the crowd on a Saturday afternoon...... it is a lovely pub - not too noisy or crowded and you can hear yourself think . I'm not a 'pubby' person and I'd recommend it and if it does get too much there are places nearby to get headspace!

@johanino, you are really doing a great job to persuade me to come to next meet. I was actually hoping to come to this one but I kept quiet in case I could not make it..which turned out to be the case. "hear yourself think"..now that is the kind of place I like.

Brambles there's a lovely charity shop just up the road with a cafe if you do need head space (bethany trust charity shop) and a really nice pottery place. Bit more rowdy in the main road but the Scotch Hop is really a hidden gem of serenity on a Saturday afternoon. I left about 2 but was there from about 12. taz96 sent me a PM with fab directions. Easy to get to via public transport. If you get the 42 from Hanover st (only about one bus stop mind on there. Don't get the airlink bus stop or else I can meet you anytime after 11) it goes about every 30 minutes and when you've passed the bethany shop on your left it's the next stop. Scotch Hop is on your right . Just down the road

@johanino, All sounds good to me. I like good coffee shops. Just come back from Meadows Inn ( well that is what I call it but think it may have changed its name) on Northern Outskirts of Arbroath. Expensive and will not be going back again...would have been better in Morrison's cafe!!! All I ask is for a decent coffee and a nice bit of cake, Danish Pastry or sticky bun.
Anyway, Had a look on Google Street, yep, I see were it all is. No 42. If I type it enough I will remember..42 42 42 42 42. Answer to life the universe and everything ...42 and Scotch Hob.

Now while i am posting. Innokin VTR, think you mentioned earlier in this thread it was your fav device...I can see why now I have mine. I love it, heavy but love it.
