Thank you for that VapingBad. I'd imagine that there is going to be a fair number of ' new to coiling ' users of these Coiling Jigs, so any information and assistance is all good. If anyone can provide a more detailed guide, it would be really appreciated I'm sure.

My Coil Master just arrived and I'm quite impressed, it's black not blue and smaller than I imagined 11 mm diameter, which is nice. The only small negatives are the sizes are not written on the parts and the little screws are flat head, altogether very happy with it. Mine's here too and its a lot thinner and smaller than the revolver. Quality doesn't seem as good but there isn't a lot in it. Both these units do the job admirably imo, just waiting on the FT kuro clones for the set and I'll compare them all.

I noticed when we ordered them there was no colour option so thought Blue, mine also arrived today (black) and like you, thought god it's small, also why they didn't mark them up with the sizes, I ended up taking each one out one by one and checking it against the next until I got them all in order Wondering now if the FT ones are any bigger Edit: they did provide a yellow screwdriver to adjust the screws (assume you adjust them outward for bigger wire sizes)

For coiling I always use either coiltoy.ermeso.com/ or www.steam-engine.org/coil.aspPrefer the former as it actually shows the coil so you know if you have it set right, I mainly do 3mm diameter coils for my RTAs & RDAs, don't do Gennies and buy heads for clearos

I got a blue screw driver, must have a dozen at least by now, I have a Dremel engraver that I will label the sizes with. I am considering cancelling the FT one as this one is so good, if something I like pops up for the same price before it ships I probably will..

I ordered two sets from FT, if they're any good I'll probably run a little comp and pass a set on

Yes SE is better and I use it when I want something other than just a normal coil, but for those who are just getting into coiling I think coiltoy is easier for normal coils. Was your blue one the right type or a philips, my yellow one was I've got a dremel look-a-like with engraving attachment but doubt I'll go that far, I just used a highlighter pen to mark them with the size.

Id imagine the other versions are similar
