more scary is the results, anyone scoring less than 8/10 (given the two your mum type questions with more than 1 correct answer) should be seriously ashamed...out of the 5375 people to complete the questionnaire so far a staggering 1123 failed to achieve that demonstrating they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a lithium battery ....if they all used 18650 cells in unregulated mods that's a lot of detonations to worry about .....

just seen this in the news daily hailwhich I have to say is somewhat sneaky (it popped up as a new story on msn despite it being an adjustment to an article published in November last year) what surprised me more though was the addendum at the bottom of the article

While the studyconducted by Dr Kunugita, Director of the Japanese Department of Environmental Health, did claim to have found such high levels of one carcinogen (formaldehyde) in the vapour from one brand of electronic cigarette, we would like to clarify that this result was not included in the published research. In fact, the Japanese study supports existing evidence that e-cigarettes are much less dangerous than tobacco products

essentially they completely re-wrote the article substantially changing it from its previous iteration where it was 100% anti e-cig and is now 90% for it semi slating the anti thr folks in the process ..... I find it sneaky though they didn't just write a completely new article admonishing the earlier one and splash it out like the clickbait headline they used the first time round ..... still at least its now more accurate and seems to suggest a paradigm shift in the outlook of the media from being anti e-cig to positive towards them, lets hope that continues given some of the recent articles published in the mainstream media

I found the battery safety quiz very useful and it reinforced my opinion that I shouldn't use anything that needs batteries. Or rather anything but fixed batteries. I got 70% but still wouldn't feel comfortable with removable batteries.
