Hi i have ran out of muji japanese cotton, which i have been using for wicking in rba set ups, had no issues with the stuff, good vape and taste, so till i can get some more i have had ago using some cotton balls from FT, thing is im getting a different taste in the vape, also went to boots today and brought some 100% cotton baby pads (thought they would be handy for the wicking, bit like the muji stuff ) but same again getting the taste i did with the cotton balls. have read somewhere it could be down to bleaching agent used in cotton, but doesnt say anything on the boots cotton pads about any chemicals used. could the cotton balls or pads be washed to remove any chemicals if any ?
cheers Matt

I have a buttload of japanese cotton. If you want me to throw you 10 pads then just PM me your address.

I've never boiled cotton - seems a faff? I think as long as its not bleached version you are fine.
The only reason I moved onto rayon and japanese cotton is that they hold flavour longer and I do rba carto builds so changing cotton wick is an effort when its in my carto tank

I made a mistake with my rayon order months ago from amazon and have about 40 feet of Graham's cellucotton (cotton not rayon) so am using that... Find it fine on the taste and I figure - waste not want not. And when I run out I figure if it's cheap enough I'll just get more Jane

Jim Excactly as jevans said... if you consider there's no detailed desciption but only a photo; and also that in Greece the prices are bit higher, about 5 euros a pack of 3 pads ( www.e-smokers.gr/product/organiko-vamvaki-iaponias-nakamichi-cotton/ ) I thought those its price was £1.95 for 3 pads...

qsplan £1.95 for 80 pads plus shipping! The detail on the EU Muji site is a little light on information, there is more detail on the German site. www.muji.de/en/store/goods/4548718561247
I have bought these a couple of times for myself and friends and I can confirm they are packs of 140.
