"... There are definitely 2 modes, sleep and off on that chip. So technically it fires from sleep all right, but doesn't fire when it's turned off. When it's off, you get the "Hello" message, then the chip model, and you have to let go of the button, and press again for it to fire. When it's in sleeping mode, one press and you're good to go, I tend to believe the off mode happens after about 15mns. I'm a bit in a hurry right now, but I'll try to time the off mode later on today if needed "

another review:
"I've had the 3fvape version for a bit now. Temperature control works on it. Seems like it works as designed a little better if I'm not at 40w's. Might just be whatever build I have as I'm not experienced with nickel. My biggest issue with the device is the 510 connector. It's not floating, and it's not reverse threaded, which means if I want to switch between my kayfun and my dripper I need to have a flathead screwdriver on hand, because otherwise it's not going make the connection. Also kind of weird, when I use my kayfun v4 clone (1.3 ohm kanthal single coil build) on it, it asks me everytime I bring it out of sleep mode if it's a new coil. If I tell it it's a new coil it operates as I expect. If I select same coil it thinks it needs to do temperature protection, and because it's not nickel, it doesn't perform as you'd expect. It doesn't do that with the Atlantis tank I have, or the nickel coil I put in my plumeveil. Slightly annoying as I mostly use the kayfun lately. Overall build quality I'd give it a 8/10 compared to the real one. There's also a little button rattle with the up/down buttons. The top part of the mod is ever so slightly misaligned. Doesn't bring any performance issues, but when you know it's there, it's there.

I have a buddy at work that has a real 30w vaporflask, Build quality on his is noticeably better. Another buddy has the fasttech 30w model. Build quality between mine and his seems about the same quality, but his has the floating 510. The dna30 clone chip in it appears to be the same as the cana I bought from fasttech. "

I think we should ask kangxin what is the newest batch, that with v3 or v3-550

Statistics most of them are v3 only and only bobw1951 got issue.

Just spoke with julia from kangxin, and she dont now english for sure, but what i understand that, now all vf are v3 only on bottom, and they dont have delay fire from sleep, she says if i understand correct that older batch have little delay.

I can now confirm that the sleep problem was down to the sub 0.1 ohm build (0.092), just completed a rebuild of a KFL+ and ended up with 0.16 ohms and now I only have to wait until the main screen comes up to vape from sleep, so once it has got past the Hello and KX-40D messages

The top off, not going to go digging in the glue. The board is in the space between the battery tubes but no way of telling any more than that. The screen fits perfectly in the plastic template thingy on the right, no way it is going to move out of alignment.

hm, doesnt see nice inside of kangxin, ofc more importand its working flawless, but i thinked i see somethink simillar to this

I`m not stripping it any further matie33 unless I get a problem That one is made very well without glue.

right as long board work well it can be shit ton of glue. i only thinking about replace later this copper 510, since i dont have good opinion about copper threads. maybe some fatdaddy 510 but without spring, or making isolations between spring and pin + and two orings on both end of spring that, spring still be adjusting height but not transporting any power.

I`m okay with copper threads, but if and when the time comes it will be an easy job to replace
