Never had a Kafun v4 so cant compare.
I have only just started to direct lung inhale at the same time as getting the Kanger Subtank Mini and the Lemo Drop, both of which have a huge airflow and ideal for lung inhale, so it is all a very new way of vaping for me but it is pretty impressive compared to mouth to lung inhale.

Like others have said, the Chinaflask/rDNA40 is not so different from many other mods in terms of vape quality and If I am honest and closed my eyes, I would not be able to tell the difference between the Chinaflask wearing a Subtank/ni200 wire and a iStick wearing a Lemo Drop/Kanthal but I like the idea of new and innovative vaping gear and will continue to try cutting edge stuff.
I cant see how vaping can get any better than it already is, and for me, most of the gear that is moving us forward tends to be the items that we put on top of the mods or inside the atties/tanks.

There are two ways you can use these. Either set a temp for protection which will be

just a tip matie33 , if you want to tag someone, put a "@" in front of the name of the person you are tagging

Doesn't always work robby, some people's tag is different from the name shown, always best to run cursor over the name to find out what the tag is first

I have an original DNA40 from late December (it has both C and F modes) and although I wish it was OK, it isn't. At high watts it still garbles the screen some times. Evolv did made a fix which consists in resetting the screen on each fire but it's only masking the problem.

Initially I had other issues but with a lot of care and patience I think I manged to solve them all. There is still some resistance creeping (between base 0.15 up to 0.18) but it's probably my spring loaded 510 connector fault.

I wonder if these clone boards have been glitch free regarding to screen issues. I've read the whole thread but no mention about it.

Oh, on the real dna 40, after it goes to sleep, it will fire without delay if there is less than 120 minutes between uses. More than two hours and the board will go to deep sleep and although the board will fire on first click, there is a delay as the chip is booting and showing the DNA welcome screen.

The Subtank is very harsh in comparison to the Kayfun V4 but they are two totally different beasts. Flavour changes at different temperatures and is affected by airflow and how good the wicking is.

No screen issues on the genuine Vapour Shark Rdna40 or either of the clones, my VS was from the second batch which is supposed to have all the issues sorted, so far both have worked flawlessly.

The second batch, bleeps if battery inserted the wrong way, pixels in screen bigger. No issues at all since.

They do exactly what they are supposed to do, there are a few dos and donts, but follow a few basic rules and it`s an excellent reliable mod

somone on a fb group i am on has a faulty dna40 chip the brand new ones with the gold somthing or others forgott now

I have a original dna 40 from the batch right before the gold revision and it's wacked in C mode (even miss fired a few times) and garbles the screen from time to time in F mode.

Hard to hear a golden one has been found with glitches
