Ahh, I see. They've upgraded it and called it 'Android Studio'. Good news is you can either download the previous version or download the JAVA 7 sdk (instead of the 8). I could also zip up this version and put it somewhere for download. But it's huge. (no pc damn) The first method on that link, do you have those options to move apps @johanino? ETA: developer.android.com/sdk/index.html scroll down to the bottom and download the SDK tools.

You don't need the Android Studio @johanino, just the SDK.

I tried what you said but it wouldn't go to SD card by default Ripshod....I think I might try altering the programming - the end bit from 2 to 0 or 2 to 1 And was that windows programming there on that page or mac? How do I write the same thing in mac code Sometimes my macbook recognises this phone - sometimes not.... Argh another pm of playing

The end bit. '2' = sdcard '0' = internal storage (ram) '1' = invalid
The commands are the same for whatever OS you use, the only difference is the actual software you downloaded. You did download the mac version?

Yeah that method by Ripshod shifts everything bar the google stuff. it auto puts new apps on SD card. Have decided not going to fret re google search ....am only on fossilized android os (4.2.2)....everything else is working fine.

I think that may be for the best @johanino, until someone either releases a proven root for the phone or releases pre-rooted firmware.
At the moment the 'move2sd' app still won't work either, even though some say it will without rooting.
