To be honest the coils haven't lasted long at all. I'm only getting a day outta the 1 ohm coils as well. Which is a pity cause I love the device itself. It is too expensive to replace the coils everyday. I've 10 coils at home. So I'll only use it now and again. I'm not payn a fortune for coils either. Maybe they'll come out with an rba head for it in the future like the egrip. Hope they do!! That's awful that they're only lasting a day or so. Surely Joyetech have to come clean over this. That's potentially £84 per month on coils Can only hope the Delta II coils last a bit longer. It could be my juice. I use big juice forest fruits mostly.. Even though it's 70pg/30vg joyetech coils don't seem to like it. I had the same trouble with the egrip coils. They always taste burnt with any juice I try except joyetechs own brand which is rotten.

I would have thought that heavy vg juice would have had more trouble wicking than heavy pg juice. For the EGrip, you could always try the Aspire BVC coils in it & see if they work any better.

The egrip stock coils are not really great with many juices - mine turned burnt fairly rapidly.
Thankfully the RBA base is a revelation and highly economical to run - I got the 510 base and I'm still using the coil it came fitted with after nearly a month - dry burn to remove crud and rewick and you are good to go.

I have the rba base but the forest fruits I mainly use although doesn't taste burnt still doesn't taste the same as with any other tank I use :-(

Combine that with the lovely airflow and serious vapour production (its no stealth device thats for sure) and it possibly my favourite device currently. Probably a personal taste thing...

Well I took a chance & ordered the 2.5ml Ego Tank, just to see what it was like. It arrived a couple of days ago and so far it's been alright.
To me it's a very similar vape to a Mini Nautilus. Maybe just a bit better taste, with a slightly warmer vape, on the Ego Tank ( both at 15w ) You can get a tight draw from it so you can mouth to lung. You'll just need the airflow ring pretty much closed off. It's super noisy when the airflow is opened up though.
It came with the 1.0 ohm head and it's still working, so I'll see how long it lasts. That's with me vaping a 12mg 75vg/25pg peppermint menthol juice.
I'd maybe recommend it over a Mini Nautilus, due to it holding a bit more juice & being more drop resistant thanks to the metal tank, but the price of the spare heads is the weak spot atm. Even more so if Aspire end up making organic cotton BVC heads at the same price as their current ones.
I know I won't be buying anymore Ego coils until I see how long they last, and MyEpack or someone else sells them in singles.

Just watched Vaping Shozza's review of the XL version, and someone mentioned in the comments that Joyetech told them that the 0.5 ohm coils are only meant to last for 1 day with continued use?! How are you all getting on with yours? I was going to pick up the 2.5ml tank due to its small size & looks, but if one 0.5 ohm coil isn't going to last at least a week I'm not forking out £20+ a month for extra coils. Yeah I agree, my own thoughts at present is, due to the rate that items/devices are being introduced into the market it starts becoming quite expensive to have tanks from differing manufacturers, ie: I am loving the three models of sub tanks at present along with the Aspire Atlantis and to buy this ego one kit would just be more expense as it takes different coils, I am going to speak about this more in my next VLOG.
