i never have nuff to buy out of the classifieds because of robby and his links
but i have to say its not good when that much disappears feel for the guy it looks like he did what most of us would do

If you look back at the previous debate about this you will find that there was quite a few members who wanted it banned. Unfortunately, we are just like other forums because they all have people who have been ripped off in one way or another. Don't think for one minute that we are not open to being ripped off because we are.

Its been pointed out earlier but the problem with Paypal goods payments is it just switches the risk from the buyer to the seller - if you accept a payment by Paypal goods and services and the buyer wants to rip you off and claim non receipt there is nothing you can do about it as a seller - Paypal always side with the buyer.

Paypal F&F is no different to paying someone by bank transfer or (to jump back a decade or so to the early days of ebay) a cheque - no more or less likely to be ripped off.  So are you suggesting that a Paypal account is a mandatory requirement for selling on here? - because that would be a bit silly.

At some point one side of the transaction has to take a risk - we're all adults here and should be able to weigh these things up ourselves I'd have thought - no need to dictate terms on how members choose to transact with each other.

If I remember correctly I did not vote because I never pay through F & F so in reality it does not affect me, sorry to disappoint you.

I wouldn't buy F&F unless I trusted the seller but there's plenty I trust on here.

I want the option to buy as I choose.

There is paypal protection if you decide or use it or not is up to you.
