spacey thanks for the lift back to the staion. Blooming good job they have foot bridge, the barriers came down so early, & if it hadn't been for the bridge, we would have sat there for 10 minutes, watching the train come in & go out

We had a great time Q, very sorry you weren't able to join us, and also wil7985 - next time!
I was shown a quick and easy way to twist wire using a cup and a pair of pliers, and with my new-found skills I have this evening wound up some more and recoiled all my drippers! Who needs 2 nasty little coils when one whopping twisted one works much better - I can't believe the difference

Great to meet debra465 who I hope wasn't too scared (certainly didn't seem like it!), and also to have a proper chat with a couple of Helen's regular customers, who kindly gave me some surplus juice - I now owe them some Red Astaire next time I'm mixing.

All in all a very pleasant afternoon - thanks to Helen for copious coffee and hostessy-type things, and also to the Beacon Arms for opening up early for us to enjoy a pint and fog the place out!!

I didn't exhale until I saw you come out onto the platform - Was really worried the train would come and go and you'd be waving at it from the top of the bridge!!

Well, a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon,thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome

It was great to meet everybody, you are all very kind and lovely people.
The biggest compliment I can give you, given that life is very stressful looking after my Dad at the moment, is that you made me forget all my troubles

Special thanks to Helen for being such a fantastic host, Chrissie, wish my old headmistress was more like you, Tracey for sharing her GVC with me

Don't know which is my biggest challenge, figuring out how to tag people on my mac, or figuring out the best way to wick my Squape

Hmmm - what happened when you clicked on the & typed in my display name?

The other way to tag is to hover over the members display name & click on "alt" - that's if you have an alt button on a mac. Also whenever you hover over a display name, it will show the user name to tag with.
