A 'direct lung hit' (DLH) is different in that you keep your throat open, and inhale the vapour straight down into your lungs in one motion rather than 'storing' it in your mouth first. Imagine a whistle in reverse; purse your lips with your vapouriser in them, and as you press the button, keep a small gap around the driptip and inhale deeply, drawing down a mixture of vapour and air and filling your lungs with the mixture.
Be careful as you do this the first few times as the vapour will undoubtedly make you cough until you get used to the process, and can control the mixture of vapour and air more easily.
As the nicotine is delivered straight to your lungs, you will find that you will need to lower your levels or risk overdosing temporarily.

Hope this makes some sort of sense, I'm sure others will describe the DLH better than me

Thanks for the vid Perpetua , after the auto waffle you actually got to know what it was all about, think I preferred chykensa 's version!
Either way, I don't think it's for me, even the demonstrator ended up coughing!

It generally depends on what gear i'm using to how I vape, the egrip and the aspire atlantis lend themselves to direct lung hits. Everything else ( protanks/silo/nautilus/ billet box) are mouth to lung and I use lower nicotine and chain vape. Sometimes I exhale through my nostrils for an additional taste sensation... so vaping is pretty versitile!
